“This little hotel is a gem. Clean, quiet, nice rooms with a/c, tv, free Netflix, free wifi and super friendly staff. The hotel is located near the Ciudad Colonial and at walking distance from Malecón de Santo Domingo. There are plenty of great restaurants and attractions nearby. Large, modern shopping centers are a short Uber ride away. If you are driving there is ample street parking. Conveniently two “colmados” are just a few meters away. They offer drinks and food items. I highly recommend……

“Check in was easy, the owner provided me with bldg and room access. Hotel rules was explained via email in details. I only had one issue with no shower gel. But the reception came and explain the issue and rectified the situation the same day.Adefra staff member Omar Molina was on point with making breakfast the way I preferred it and assisted me with points of interest around Santo Domingo.”

“I stayed in El Beaterio for 4 nights. It’s such a beautiful casa museo located in a quiet area. The room is nice and clean decorated with old maps of La española. The courtyard has lots of sunlight and plants that I enjoyed my breakfast here (though you need to apply mosquito repellent as they are quite active if you come in early morning like 6-8am) Check out the terrace in the early morning and you would get a nice photo with sun rise. The staff here are very nice. I stayed in the room……

“302房间是带圆形阳台的，特别棒！在这里住了两天，第一天在304，没有阳台，很幸运第二天换到了304。酒店位于殖民区的中间，在美洲大教堂的旁边，去周围的景点很方便。附近停车位不太好找。”

“Great hotel and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I did not like that they had a wedding in the main area. Could not come or go without having to walk right through the middle of the wedding ceremony and they need to have ironing board and iron in the rooms.”

“Una d ellas 2 recepcionistas pésima actitud. Nos cambiaron la habitación que habíamos reservado que era Muy diferente a la que aparecía en internet. Nos dieron otra de menor precio según nos iban a reembolsar y al final no lo hicieron . La cama lo más incomoda que he vivido . Lo mejor es la ubicación”

“El hotol esta bien ubicado, la limpieza bien, por lo meno el cuarto que me tovo (101) primer piso no esta mal. Agua caliente. Para mejorar, la caja fuerte no son confiable, la Tv no puder ver nada local. No tienen parking, si alquila un vehiculo tienes que correr toda la zona colonial. Ya que hay gente que ponen conos rojo para cobrarte, le llame la atencion a uno y hable con la policia de turismo y esto me dijeron que el parking en la calle es sin costo. Para desayunar es fuera del hotel al……

“A sensação de ficar hospedado neste hotel é como voltar no tempo. Foi um prazer ficar hospedado no Casa dele XVI. Gostaria de ter ficado mais tempo. Muito bem localizado para quem deseja conhecer a Zona Colonial.”

“La limpieza excelente. Siempre se mantiene todo limpio. El personal muy bueno siempre ayudan en todo lo que esté a su alcance . La ubicación excelente todo queda bien cerca el parque Colón 200 pies . El súper a unos 5 minutos los museos todo y lo mejor las noches con sus luces y restaurantes . Lo recomiendo al 100 es como la 5 vez que voy y esta fui por 15 días lo mejor”
