"I was very disappointed with my stay at Southbank Hotel Jacksonville Riverwalk. The hotel was under major construction, yet this was not properly disclosed before arrival. The property looked nothing like the photos advertised on the website or booking platforms. I have photos showing the actual condition of the hotel and would be happy to share them. The service was equally disappointing. The front desk appeared understaffed and unorganized, and staff members seemed unfamiliar with basic guest service procedures. Housekeeping was also below expectations, and the room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. Overall, the combination of misleading advertising, ongoing construction, poor customer service, and cleanliness issues made for a very negative experience. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to others."
