“This place is crying out for The Hotel Inspector or Gordon Ramsay to storm in and shake the owners out of their stupor. There’s genuine potential here — the kind of charm and setting that could make it special — but it’s completely undermined by a burnt-out, disengaged owner whose negativity sets the tone the moment you walk in. “Overall my stay was great experience however dinner was a bummer since kitchen closes early 9:00 pm so I had to get the bar menu. Service wasn’t that great they were just distracted.”

“The location is great , close to most of the sightseeing spots, but in a quiet location! Also, this hotel itself is full of beautiful history for you to explore! All the staffs are friendly and helpful, especially, the girl in the front desk, Marianne , who help me to book all the great restaurants during my stay! ”

“The studio apartment at Adagio served me well for 6 nights in Antwerp. The air conditioning was powerful and helpful in the warm weather. The studio was spacious and good value, and it was generally clean - particularly key areas like bed, bathroom (except older grout mould etc, hard to avoid) and kitchen. However, more care could have been taken in other spaces like the floor/rug and inside drawers and cupboards, as there were several hairs from previous guests. Unfortunately there was some……

“Lovely stay in Antwerp with a fantastic view of the MAS museum and Marina. The room was quirky but comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The bathroom was enormous though there was no door for privacy from the bedroom. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with information about the trams etc. It’s a few stops on the tram to central Antwerp for shopping and the main station. Around the hotel there are various bars and restaurants and the area felt extremely safe late at night.”
