During the summer months, the Nordermarkt, with its street cafes and restaurants, brings a Mediterranean flair to the fjord city. You should also always have time for a relaxing break with a view of the water and a delicious fish sandwich after an extensive shopping spree on Schleswig-Holstein's longest shopping mile. Also on the peninsula, facing the outer fjord, is the beautiful, fine sandy Holnis "Drei" beach with its approximately three-kilometer-long, natural promenade. This bathing and spa beach is considered the most beautiful beach on the Flensburg Fjord.
