This is a delightful find, conveniently located a few kilometres from the autoroute. The hotel is a real, 500 years-old compact chateau with good rates, good rooms and excellent food. Their chef has a Michelin star and the menu prices are not cheap but the food is excellent, not over-fussy and genuinely local. Buffet breakfast is adequate in range, good in quality but rather expensive.
The hotel is set in pleasant gardens with easy parking. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped with an excellent, good-sized shower. It is all slightly quirky in a nice way with friendly service.
