Wherever you’re jetting in from, flying can be a seamless experience if you’re well prepared. We’ve compiled a list of handy tips and tricks that will get your Registro vacation started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First of all, put in your passport, important documents, bank cards and vital medications. Next, you’ll want some in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A juicy book and a phone filled with your favorite shows are some wonderful options. If you plan to catch up on some sleep, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of noise-canceling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, leave space for a toothbrush and some facial wipes to ensure you arrive at your destination looking fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don’t have a Swiss Army knife hiding in the bottom of your carry-on luggage. Other restricted items include flammable or explosive products, such as aerosol cans and bleach, and liquids and gels in containers with a volume of more than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- The answer to a comfortable flight often lies in the clothes you wear. Prepare for temperature changes by layering up. This will keep you nice and warm if the cabin begins to cool down. Shoes like sandals and heels are best left in your suitcase. Instead, go for flat, closed-toed footwear like sneakers. Your feet will appreciate it.
- The serious condition called deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can pose a risk on long-haul flights. It’s the result of blood clots forming due to poor circulation. Walking around the cabin and doing regular foot and leg exercises in your seat is a great way to prevent this occurring. Wearing a pair of compression socks or tights can also help.
