We've pulled together all the info you need to make your flight a stress-free experience. Follow our tips and tricks and you'll be hightailing it through airport security and seeing the best of Zeballos in no time at all. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a pleasure if you carry the right stuff. First things first, you'll need toiletry items, such as deodorant, toothpaste and a toothbrush, a clean pair of socks and a good read. Secondly, leave space in your bag for your electronic gadgets, chargers, any daily medications and perhaps a proper neck pillow as well. Lastly, don't forget to bring your passport, travel papers and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by security. Pointed or sharp objects, like a pocket knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as spray paint, flares and poisons, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main priority is to feel as comfortable as possible. Choose a pair of flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, natural-fibre clothing and remember to bring a pullover in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to wander around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
