“The house and property were in excellent shape. The pool was a definite PLUS, clean with nice sitting area poolside. The only negative was there could have been more dishes and a larger coffee pot for a place rated for 9 people. Otherwise, it was excellent!”

“Pool for swimming, IF you are afraid of swimming with the St Johns River creatures. A canal for fishing with all the after fishing perks. Loads of seating areas outside for talking, games, eating, sunning, reading..... There is even a lone bench, I called the "discipline bench", if you have a child OR adult that needs a timeout! A huge deck over the canal and you can even do some "Florida Glamping" in the bunkhouse. IT IS a "Backyard Oasis"!!!! ”

“This is by far the best place we’ve stayed at while visiting Melrose. The view is amazing and the place is perfect inside and out. We fished and swam right off the incredible dock and had a fire with family in the evening. And to add, the hosts went above and beyond. Maggie and Micah, thank you for everything!! ”

“Wonderfully equipped property, couldn’t ask for more. House and grounds were exceptionally clean and organized when we arrived. Very spacious for two family gathering. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook full dinners; extra appliances; plenty of cookware; and ample dining areas (inside and out). We rented house for a boating weekend on the St. John’s River. Great views in all directions. Fun restaurants on the river close by. I even kayaked across the river one morning to watch sunrise, and……
