Rustic house, multi level floors offered a challenge to we, in our 70’s, to negotiate. Not handicap accessible. Great yard for the pup, comfortable bed.

The house had not been swept or mopped. No hand bars for the step into the house at the patio door. My husband almost landed on his face twice.

Not a good place to stay

Deck, patio furniture was in poor condition, did not want to use it. mattresses were in poor condition, hard and lumpy, no one slept well. Mattresses need replacing. Kitchen floor is sloped, we had to get used to that. Living room and furniture are ok. It could be an okay place if it were better taken care of.

Cool place

Nice place close to beach- didn’t have a pet with us but you can tell it’s pet friendly, some built up pet hair in the hard to reach places. Didn’t bother us but wouldn’t book it if you have allergies etc. great kitchen for making meals there and good spaces for lounging and hanging out

Road to property

The house was perfect for us. The big problem was driving our Tesla through a foot of standing water on the unmaintained road to the house!

Would Stay Again

Cute 2 bedroom house. Kitchen was well stocked and all appliances worked well. Love that it is pet friendly and has a fenced back yard. Short walk to the beach. Fit the bill for what we needed.

The pictures you posted were very deceiving. You could not see the ocean at all from that property.

Quiet location

It was easy to find with the Garmin. The inside was spaced out so if someone was watching TV someone else could sleep.

Location, location, location.

It's a cute 2/2 cottage. Minutes from the best beach. Easy access to town. Great in some ways, fell short in a few other ways. Needs some TLC.

Not as advertised

The house was dirty, not set up for children, and not close to the beach as advertised. The floors are coming apart, the dishwasher didn’t work, there were weird stains on some of the walls, the comforter on the master bed was dirty, the bedding was cheap and crunchy, the beds were hard as rocks and were actually painful to sleep on, there was one children’s toy, no pack n play, no high chair, so no where for our infant to sleep, there were no closet doors on the closet in the hall so everything was easily accessible for the baby which was stressful, and he found an empty screw top beer can under the sink in the master bathroom- oh, and a nasty old crunchy makeup brush. The house was dark even though the pictures made it look light and bright. The master bathroom toilet runs after flushed for quite a while, and you have to cross your fingers and hope it actually flushes. The couches are so old that it feels gross to sit on them, definitely not relaxing. One of the couches is covered with a gross slip cover. This house is advertised as being super close to the beach, however it’s a bit of a walk especially with little kids, we ended up driving. We will not be staying here again. I would have gladly paid a little more for a cleaner and more updated house.

Comfortable accommodations

Loved the modern kitchen, fire pit, large screen TV. Did not love the cheap mattress in 2nd bedroom, smell in the kitchen and bathroom located off kitchen, and the difficulty of locating house.

Not the greatest stay

This place is in a good location for exploring the Florence area, but that’s about it. Neighborhood is a little gross, the walk down to the beach is along busy roads without sidewalks or a shoulder, the beds are basically just box springs and we had multiple issues with the property that we never addressed with anything other than an automated text response. Clogged sink, broken garbage disposal, a leak from the bottom of the toilet and heat that just randomly stopped working. Vacasa just doesn’t care about taking good care of properties the way private owners do, and it shows. Stay elsewhere.

First family vacation

This house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed yhe hot tub, the home feel of it. I would not suggest people who have hard time going up stairs. As there is no wheel chair ramp, and a pretty big step from the dinning room to the living room. Other then that this house was just what we were looking for.

Florence cottage

The house is conveniently located close to the ocean and just up the stairs out back to Jerry’s Pub. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and exploring the area.

Quiet space within walking distance to the beach.

This home had all the pieces of home as well as a hot tub! Being able to bring our Boston with us was the best. We had a total family vacation.

Florence Quick trip

Enjoyed our quick trip. Setting up the vacation home was quick and easy. Location was great with an easy access to the beach. Condition of the vacation home could have been better. We did experience mold in the shower, kitchen stove light out, needed to have small kitchen appliances replaced and some electrical outlets replaced. Over all the house was clean. Probably would not rent this particular home again.

Not very good.

It is very hard to find. There aren't any house numbers or lights on the outside of the house. We had to ask a neighbor where it was. The roads are dirt and not maintained. We would have had a hard time getting through without being in an SUV because of the huge area of water over the road. One of the neighbors has flood lights that shine right into the bedroom window. The other neighbors kept parking all their cars in our spot and there wasn't anywhere else to park. There were no instructions for turning on the heaters. We had to look for the hot tub key for a while before we found it. There is no cellular service and the WiFi didn't work most of the time. I'm glad we had a place to lay our heads but not very happy. I'm certain if the owners fixed the house things and spoke to the neighbors it would be a better place to stay.

Well maintained property - quiet neighborhood.

We had a fun "grown ups" weekend with no kids. Took a walk down to the beach, cute little market a block away. It was nice to have the hottub and grill outside.
