Very nice place to stay

It's a great place to stay. Small but comfortable with a beautiful view and nice quiet neighbors. A washer and dryer would make it perfect!

This is my second time at this property. It is spacious and quiet, and I will book it again, when I am back. It is convenient to Fairhope and Foley. The bed is very comfortable and sleeps very well. It is very good to come here and just relax.

Good place with a few quirks

Great place for me to stay while traveling in the area for work, few little things like a broken cup coffee maker and a tiny shower. Overall good, would probably stay here again.

Beautiful out of the way cabin!

My husband and I found this property perfect for our week long stay. It was very comfortable for us and our 2 dogs! It was perfect to be far enough away from the beach crowds and traffic, but close enough to everything to be convenient! Highly recommend the renter as well!

It was a very quiet with beautiful scenery definitely would visit again loved it there. I had fun and it was very homey and had everything you could need, though I absolutely hated the bath tub and the water pressure and the dog hair all over the sofa and floor in the living room everything else was absolutely gorgeous.

Quiet Getaway

This was a lovely property, overlooking a canal & just minutes from the beach & Gulf Shores excitement. Comfortable furnishings, clean & new property, nice grill & covered outdoor porch to enjoy the mornings/evenings. I'd highly recommend for an individual retreat to relax, or couple's romantic getaway.

The property was very nice and peaceful! The view was great and the inside of the property was adorable. Only thing we would suggest is if your staying for more than a couple days there isn’t a dresser so storage could be a little better. All and all we truly enjoyed the property!

The Magnolia River cabin was a great stay for us and our dogs. Very relaxing and stress free. Loved having the water right outside. We kept our kayaks in the river tied up to the dock the whole stay and just jumped in and peddled away whenever we wanted. Plenty of room and very peacefully quiet. Neighbors are friendly when or if you do run into them. Will return.

Good fishing. Comfortable bed. Shower is terrible. Slippery and so small the curtains constantly touch you. The a/c or a sump pump makes loud noises off and on all night.

Magnolia Springs Cabin

The cabin was perfect. We read previous reviews and our concerns were quickly gone when we arrived we realized they had addressed the coffee pot and there is a k-cup machine now along with a Mr. Coffee pot. They also have added more towels. Our stay was perfect. We were concerned about the drive to Fairhope, but it was just a short drive. We actually went to Fairhope 3 times during our stay. The owner needs to advertise the waterfront more because we absolutely enjoyed watching the wildlife most of all the dolphins!!!

A no frills quiet barn/cabin. It was clean, off the beaten path, yet easy to access. At the end of a dirt lane.The bed was VERY comfortable, plenty of covers and pillows. The sofas had ample room for my adult daughter. Nice yard leading to a very simple private deck/pier on the water. Would loved to have stayed longer, will definitely consider the cabin when we go back. MiFi internet and the streaming TV are definitely on the rural spectrum. Only could pick up net flix and Paramount network. Live TV wouldn't work. Not a deal breaker, though. There was not a "welcome" page or book, as mentioned but I figured it out. I messaged the host, as directed with a question, Never got a response, but found the answer after re reading about the amenities on two different listings. Pet friendly was a plus, plenty of room for my fur babies to run. Bring a folding chair to sit on tje dock and have a cup of coffee in the morning or a drink in the afternoon. A/C worked great, and rain on the tin roof was great. Affordable price overall for a one bedroom.

NEEDS HELP

Reserving & Check in was easy enough. # No guest book was available with instructions for the cabin/WIFI/”welcome” packet? # The cabin wasn't very clean… cobwebs & dust and uncleaned surfaces. # Hair dryer listed - none available. We could have brought one. # Not enough bath towels - sleeps 4, but only 3 bath towels for week for 2. # Quality of towels were poor & stained. # No towel bars, only command hooks for 3 towels. # Watering hog trough shower tub is fun to look at but – corrodes and allows water to run on the floor between the wall and tub side because of the wall siding (glad they had disinfectant in the closet!). # Only one bed side table available but no luggage rack, shelving, dressers available. # Only 2 chairs outside available for a cabin that sleeps 4. # The longer we stayed and used the water, it smelled worse – well water! # The day before we were supposed to check out the toilet quit flushing and always when flushed was more like an eruption. We checked out a day early needless to say! # I think someone needs a lesson in the hospitality business!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean, quiet, and close proximity to everything we wanted to visit. It was nice to spend our evenings at the cabin away from the hustle & bustle of the beach. We had our own private retreat after spending busy days on the beach/sightseeing. 10 out of 10 recommended!!
