Wonderful property!

This home and property were perfect. Clean and tidy, the dock was amazing to have right out the back door. Town and the beach is just a quick bike ride away. We will be back!

Lovely home, tastefully appointed with quality furnishing and rugs. Exceptionally clean. Beautiful and private outdoor area with water views from the back deck. Walkable to downtown for dining/shopping and the beach is about 7 minutes walk. Quiet area of the island. Would highly recommend- you won’t be disappointed.

First time in Folly

The house was great! Great location! Perfect for walking to town but far enough away for the peace and quiet! My 6 year old loved our walks to the beach and my 12 and 13 year old loved riding their bikes around town. The wind kept us off the deep water dock for our stay but on a calm day it would be amazing! The walk out there alone was worth it! Highly recommend this place. Only suggestion my teenager would make is to add a TV upstairs. 😉

Fantastic cottage within an easy stroll to Center Street, Berts Market, and the beach. We loved the updated old Folly cottage feel, the decor, and the breezes on the back porch overlooking the Folly River. The home is very well maintained and equipped. Nothing negative to say here!!

Great family vacation

Our family of six fit nicely into this beautiful home. We found it very clean and livable, and especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. The location to the beach and restaurants made our stay delightful. We rented SUPs and it was fun to enjoy them right off the dock. Highly recommend and hope to return.

Great place - clean, beautifully decorated and close to town. Loved the long walkway out to the dock area. Our only complaint was the very loud construction noise/music due to a major renovation at the house directly next door, which made it tough to thoroughly enjoy the home during the weekdays (sometimes til 7:30 at night!).

Beautiful House and Boat Dock

We enjoyed everything Folly Beach has to offer from this gorgeous and immaculate house…peaceful river views from the shaded boat dock, the short walk to the public beach access, walking to the shops and restaurants on Center Street, and biking around the entire island. Saw a mama and baby dolphin surfacing near the boat dock one morning. It was a long walk out from the house but definitely my favorite spot for morning coffee or happy hour! We also enjoyed the screened front porch on those rainy evenings. The house was beautifully decorated, spacious, and super clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

Tara has a fabulous property, just as pictured in lovely folly Beach SC. We loved both the front porch and incredible sunsets on the back deck. It’s a gorgeous home full of charm. So clean and well appointed. We had a great girls trip to enjoy Charleston and made it out as Hurricane Ian takes aim. Thanks so much!

We loved the convenience of walking everywhere. Easy walk to the center of town and the beach. We really enjoyed the dock especially for sunset. It was very relaxing and we had great weather. If you have teenagers (like we did) they might want to bring a friend. Not too much for them to do in town. We still enjoyed our stay!

The home owner was very easy to with with and has stocked the home/kitchen with most everything! It was the perfect place for us to call home for the week and we’d definitely stay here again!

Great stay in a beautiful home

The house is spotless with beautiful polished wood floors in a quiet neighborhood of Folly Beach but still within walking distance of the beach, market and main strip of restaurants. It was an easy drive to Charleston and the Plantations so a good home base for the area. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy the dock and fishing because it is further out then it appears in the pictures and it was difficult for us to walk that far. However, we so enjoyed sitting on the back porch and saw so many birds as well as the screened-in front porch for morning coffee. I would highly recommend this property.

I hesitate to write this review because I really want to keep this listing to ourselves! We will absolutely be back. This property truly stands apart. Unlike many rentals-- filled with generic furniture, limited accessories and decor -- this house has a real soul. It is incredibly comfortable, filled with art and all the extra touches that make it unique and lovable. We were a family of three this time - mom, daughter (age 11) and grandma. Downstairs primary suite perfect for 78 year old with some mobility challenges. While our weather wasn't perfect, we were able to enjoy the scenic river views (including dolphin swimming right near the dock). The house is in extremely close proximity to fantastic restaurants and Bert's was convenient for paninis, wine and an incredible dessert station. The proximity to Charleston is also terrific. It's really quite easy to pop in and out. In fact, I would stay fully in Folly next time and plan Charleston excursions from Folly. The house was spotless upon arrival. Pillow cases ironed (yes, ironed). I cannot tell you how many times we've come across kitchen utensil drawers and cookware that are not up to par. This was not the case. In fact, everything seemed so new and sparkling. Thank you to Tara and Co. This was a restful haven and we're grateful to you for sharing it.

Great weekend

We stayed for a long weekend in November and the property was perfect. Exactly as described and within easy walking distance of the restaurants (including the ever present Bert’s Market!) and beach. The dock was perfect too!
