Folly Beach - Pavilion Watch - 2E

We stayed here while visiting Charleston. Greatly enjoyed the condo and Folly Beach. Beds were wonderful and we liked everything else. Three bedrooms and 3 baths plus elevator.

Cute place, Great view

I love how close the place is to both the ocean and all the shops. It was perfectly positioned for seeing the fireworks from our balcony on New Year's Eve. Waking up to ocean views is great and it is walking distance to shops and restaurants!

Perfect location

Love the fact that it’s accessible to the beach and near restaurants but the interior needs updating . Master bathroom shower door keeps falling apart. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Would stay again!

The property management were amazing to communicate with before and during the trip. We brought my infant(still crawling) when the vacuum didn’t work they delivered a brand new Shark vacuum in box within hours! They had the essentials and some basics throughout to get you started. Location was great with a pool and beach access.

Great place to stay at Folly Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at Pavilion Watch #2E. The covered balcony has a view of the ocean just past The Tides hotel's parking lot. That said, it was a quick two-minute walk to the beach and to Center Street where most of the restaurants, bars and shops are. The bedrooms, bathrooms, washer/dryer, and kitchen were fully functional. The AC was great and kept the space well-conditioned. The online description of 2E was very accurate. We would stay here again on our next trip to Folly Beach.

construction

Did construction on beach in front of condo working 24/7. Very distinctive Local Vasaca accommodating over situation. Condo clean ,roomy, usually a great view and easy access . the construction just ruined our trip but the property is great!

Nice Spot!

What we Loved: The View, Nice Furnishings, (love the Boeheim) Well stocked kitchen with most every thing you could need, Comfortable beds Nice TV Clean Things that need help: Out door furniture (falling apart) Bath rooms need updating The rug in the living room This is a very nice and comfortable rental with a great view! But for the price things should be updated and fixed.

One Final Folly

This was our first time visiting Folly Beach and we absolutely loved it. This location was PERFECT - right across the street from the beach, walking distance to all shops and restaurants and nightlife. The bedrooms had plenty of space. All towels, soap, shampoo was provided. We could have used an extra kitchen towel but we made do. We used Groceries Ahead to arrange for our groceries to be in the unit when we arrived which saved us time! We also arranged beach chairs through Folly Beach Chair company which was so easy and convenient.

The property is in a good location. Ocean view with short walk to the beach. However, our feet were black the first evening we arrived from walking around inside! Also the air conditioner quit working the night we got there and did so the three nights we were there even after being "fixed" twice!

Nice place, some areas need improvement

Overall the property was well maintained, great location to the beach and restaurants. The unit itself was okay, updated kitchen was nice. There are areas that perhaps could be improved upon - area rug is worn and dirty, door frame to deck is filthy with black finger/hand prints, no door stops at all so there are dings/dents in the walls from the door hitting it, bathrooms are decent sized although lighting is minimal, bedding in the master was thin and worn, exposed wires and cables from the tv and wi-fi router is unsightly and can be dangerous

Stress Free Folly

Everything here made for a relaxing beach vacation. Walk across a not-too-busy one way street to the beach. Walk to all the stores and restaurants in town. Comfortable condo with great decor, scattered art, and of course the ocean view balcony. No dining table as mentioned by others, but we had no problem using the outdoor table or kitchen bar. Everything worked. No worries.

I loved the view. I did not love the condo. the carpet was dirty and the rug should be in the trash. The bamboo over my bed was very dusty. My allergies were very bad all week.

Wonderful to hear the surf

Could use a few maintenance touches. View was good. Supplies were scarce. Be sure and order anything you want as suggested to be delivered. Great 24/7 store that has literaly "everthing" a couple of block away. From cloths to food to liquor to hot food to go - fun shop. We rented for 4 people. Our friends got there first and management co would not give them the code. They had to hang out till we contacted the company. Could be handled differently. :(
