We had a wonderful stay!! The house was perfect for us and our friends to have a nice trip to Folly Beach. It is in a quiet area, minutes away from the beach and walking distance to the town center. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Great beach family vacation

Great space with big communal spaces, and enough individual spaces. Kids loved the playground just down the street, easy beach access, and beach toys in the house! Lovely stay on Folly - we would definitely love to come back!

Great space with everything we needed

This is a well-maintained house that was perfect for our family. We loved the large kitchen and dining area, and there was room for all of us to gather in the living room as well. Having the playground less than a block away is a bonus, and an easy walk to the beach. Comfortable, clean, well-stocked place. Would love to stay there again.

Beach is right across the street!

Very comfortable and screen porch was wonderful with 2 sectionals to relax on! Short walk to dinner in town. No issues in ther house recently updated.

The location to the beach was wonderful. The description was accurate. Very convenient and on a very quiet street. The only complaint was not all the pots and pans were cleaned properly; otherwise a very good place.

Had a great time at Folly! Great house, clean, well stocked, and great for our dog with the fenced yard. Short walk to the beach. Quiet street that felt private but still close to all the great restaurants on Folly. Would definitely stay again!

Great House!

This is the third or fourth time our group of nursing school buddies, who met 50 years ago in 1973, have stayed at Crescent Moon...we just love it! It's roomy enough to comfortably suit our needs, very clean, and Kevin is great to communicate with! We are making plans for our next trip there...cannot wait!!

Beach Get-a-Way before school

We had a great stay at Kevin's house. There were just three of us so there was more than enough room. We brought our canine family members so the fencen in back yard was fabulous for outdoor puppy play. The beach was a quick 5 min walk. My mom loved reading on the screened in porch. We would book this place again.

Fantastic house for a large family

This house was exactly as advertised but I would say even better in person. The location was probably our favorite part. We rented a golf cart but walked to the beach no problem. The house was so nice and clean. We loved the space in each room. The living room had plenty of seating for our 7 adults, 1 child, and 1 toddler. Plenty of beds and rooms for everyone and lots of kitchen and dining space. This house was such a pleasant surprise and I would highly recommend it!

Reunion 2024

This was either the 4th or 5th time that my MUSC Nursing School buddies and I have stayed at Crescent Moon for a long reunion weekend! We love it! We have been friends and remained close for 51 years, and this home is perfect for us to gather! It has plenty of room for us to have our own spaces, is clean, and comfortable. I had a few technical issues, but Kevin is easy to reach and quick to respond with needed help! Easy walk to the beach and Center Street in Folly! I hope that we can make many more memories here!

Very thankful for a wonderful stay !

Crescent Moon exceeded our expectations. The house is lovely, spacious & homey with everything we could possibly need provided. We were a family group of 8 spanning three generations. There was plenty of room to spread out & also to gather. The upper porch was a very popular spot to enjoy the sunshine & view. The backyard was a perfect, large & secure playground for our 3 dogs. There were egret,blue bird and deer sightings just beyond the fence.The house is on a quiet street & so close to the beach ! We could pop out to see the sunrise or soak up some rays in under 5 minutes .We enjoyed many walks & bike rides along the beach . It was always so nice to have a welcoming home away from home to return to. Though we’ve stayed in various S.C. Lowcountry locations over the years, this was our first visit to Folly beach. We really like the laid back,fun vibe and the natural beauty. The close proximity to Charleston was a bonus as well. We’re very thankful for a wonderful stay at a beautiful home & island !

Great house, easy walk to beach and restaurants. Plenty of space and fully stocked with everything you need! Updated bathrooms and kitchen were great. Easy communication with Kevin. We enjoyed our trip to Folly and would definitely stay here again.

The kitchen and living room were great spaces to hang out with family with plenty of space and places to sit. We loved that the backyard was fenced in so the dogs had a safe place to run around when needed. The bedrooms were clean and well-appointed with sheets, blankets and towels.

We enjoyed our stay at Crescent Moon. The top porch was great for coffee in the morning, and the screened porch was perfect for an afternoon siesta. Our dogs really enjoyed the fenced yard with flood lights for early morning/late night potty breaks. The home is located on the south side of Folly Island and one block from the beach. It’s an easy walk to Center Street, the Pier, and several restaurants. We look forward to booking the property again in the future.
