Folly Beach Folly River Park Hotels

"Beautiful view of the beach but that comes with sand that escapes housekeeping. Property is undergoing some renovations so down to one elevator that is pretty slow. The staff at the front desk were lovely and Jay who works valet is a true gem. He was so kind to my mother who needs assistance with stairs. Pinky’s was nice to have on location. Nice stay with my mom to end our Charleston visit. "

"The host was wonderful. Great on communications, very welcoming and responsive to our inquiries. The location is second only to those places directly on the beach. Perfect for easy beach access. The place itself gets mixed reviews. The kitchen had all the tools and appliances one would need for a month long stay. Beds/sheets were very comfortable but additional blankets being available would have been nice as it was so cold while we were there. The rest of the furniture was very tired, saggy, stained and had a musty odor. Kitchen chairs were all stained badly and we were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness overall. The parking area was actually un-safe. We had the driveway which had several potholes and tree roots creating tripping hazards. We enjoyed our stay but believe with a little investment the place could be upgraded really nicely to provide an even better customer experience. The price we paid does not seem in alignment with the quality/cleanliness of the facility. "

"We like the Beachside Boutique Inn quite a lot! We were in a room in the main house right off the gathering area. The room was beautifully furnished and comfortable. We had a private deck, but the rain kept us from enjoying it, and the rest of the property. The well stocked kitchen was available at all times and a cute little sitting area was in the entrance area. The staff was friendly and very helpful! We will chose it again when back at Folly Beach."

"It was a nice clean place. I thought they should have provided a hair dryer. I didn’t realize it wasn’t provided. I ended up buying one. The heat was also a problem. It was nice & warm upstairs but very cold downstairs. We happened to hit a cold spell at the beach ( in the 20’s & 30’s). E.g. one day it was 74 upstairs and 66 upstairs. You offered us space heaters, but we really didn’t want them due to safety concerns. Overall a very nice place, well appointed & good location. "
