「The only thing I was surprised about was that this property is a converted covered patio that is attached to the host's house. After getting over that surprise and worry of safety, we were just fine. We needed somewhere to sleep, eat, and shower while we played at Universal and Disneyland and we were able to do that! 「We had a great week long stay here! Location was perfect-close to Disney, LA, family in Anaheim and lots of stores and places to eat nearby. We felt very safe in the unit the entire stay. Host was very friendly and very responsive to our needs. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with all things needed. Loved the outside balcony/porch attached to one of the bedrooms. Parking was always easy to find. Building unit is in is super cute with a water feature in the courtyard!」

「Had everything you could possibly want! Super comfortable and tastefully decorated. Hot tub was awesome. We used the games, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. The beds and linens were very comfortable, even the pullout couch! Kitchen also had everything you need and want, even a multicooker. It was so nice to walk to dinner on Del Mar rather than trying to find a parking spot for our big car. We will definitely go back! Cathy and Pete were very friendly and helpful. They are pros!」

"We went there that night, and I was extremely dissatisfied as soon as I entered the room. I asked the hotel to change rooms, but they said they were full and couldn't change even if I was willing to pay extra. Although I was unhappy all night, it wasn't a big deal. But what happened next left me completely baffled. This hotel actually used handwritten check-in forms instead of a self-service computer system. More than ten days later, we were still receiving emails from the hotel urging us to pay for valet parking. But we hadn't used the service at all; we parked ourselves, paid for it ourselves when we left, and we have receipts. But they kept emailing us saying we hadn't paid. We had already sent them all the receipts, but they still kept pressing me for payment. This stay was a terrible experience."
