Also the folks from 5starstays are so helpful. I reached out when I couldn't figure something out shortly after arriving and they took care of it so fast I couldn’t believe it. “Our group of 8 older adult friends (3 couples and 2 singles) found that Forestway was just perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well stocked for us to prepare meals together and there was plenty of room around the dining table for good food and conversations. The beds and linens were lush and comfortable. “Wonderful lake house directly on Lake Lure (cove). Property was as described, great amenities, comfortable bed, quiet (at the end of draw down). Convenient to grocery/gas/ great food and things to do. Owner was very communicative and very attentive to come check all equipment (canoes, paddle board, kayak) when the lake opened. Great views from every deck (upstairs, side and by the hot tub). Best restful vacation and will definitely return!”

“We had a blast. The cabin was nicely located with great access to the Lake Lure Village Resort amenities. We loved exploring the property, throwing frisbees in the meadow, and rock hopping along the creek to the private beach access. We were close to dining, shopping, and hiking opportunities. The cabin was comfortable and well-appointed to meet our needs. We'll be back soon!”

“The property was great. Location was perfect, easy to find, comfortable beds, kitchen well appointed. My only comments are (1) Check in from VRBO wasn't quite as I thought - I was told would be contacted 3 days in advance but I had to contact owner thru VRBO to get entry code and information that sheets/towels would be provided. (2) downstairs shared bathroom shower tub had a constant drip. (3) we were disappointed that we did not have access to the "basement" game room that was shown in the……

“We had a wonderful stay at Lake Lure and enjoyed the condo. It is well stocked with everything you need. It is a short drive to the Lake and all the amenities at Rumbling Bald including the indoor pool, mini golf, hot tub and good food at Legends. We used the condo as a home base to go climb Chimney Rock and see Asheville. We had great communication with the owner and a neighbor who helped take care of things. It was a great getaway and recommend it.”

“Nice rustic cabin for Spring Break getaway! We had a great time exploring the area, fishing the lake and river. The cabin was perfect size for family. The cabin did need a another set of silverware and bathroom towels otherwise you are constantly washing. The ladybugs also must have liked the cabin because they seemed to have made it their hatching ground in the basement level!”
