Search B&B in Forest Falls

"Check in was 5 p.m., not 4 p.m., due to computers down. Was given handicap room, but did NOT request. Paid for view, but had to overlook a non functioning jacuzzi with dirty sand bags, construction fence with fake ivy, etc. which blocked much of our view. Property is poorly maintained. Room had dirty and worn carpeting, dirty cloth footstool, missing trim pieces in bathroom, etc. Paint peeling outside, no cushions available for outdoor wicker furniture."

"The staff is really amazing! My only complaint is that the carpets are dinghy and the walls need to be cleaned. The bed was very comfortable. It seems as if this was once a great hotel but it is losing its luster due to age and it is in need of a deep clean."

"The view of the lake was so satisfying and relaxing and the location was great. The amenities that were offered in this property was unbeatable. They provided everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The only thing that needed to be changed were the kitchen towels were very old and had a pretty musty stench to them and the pool towels needed some updating and lastly the body wash was empty in one of the bathrooms. Other than that, we will be returning again the next time we visit Big Bear Lake."

"Stayed to attend Beyond Wonderland, for the price I wasn’t expecting a luxurious stay but I was a little disappointed with the overall experience. The staff was extremely nice at check in however as far as pros that is about it aside from location. Basic amenities like a hair dryer, tissue boxes, or even a safe were unavailable. The tv also just had cable, no ability to stream or connect to it. No drapes or curtains just blinds, so in the early morning hours it’s pretty bright. Parking is relatively always packed and requires a pass given at check in, however when returning pretty early in the morning (3am) there was no parking available. We were unsure where to park as the remaining areas had red painted curbs indicating no parking. When a spot happened to be vacated we parked in it, we then were met with someone who seemingly is a long term resident at the hotel who harassed us and said it was their spot despite being no assigned parking. Definitely was a scary experience. Overall I would say it was convenient in regard to location and works in a pinch, but if I choose to return next year I’d say explore other options first. "

"There was a smell of smoke in the room. The decoration of the room was not the first freshness. At night, I was disturbed by noise from other rooms, and from outside. It's a scary place."
