“The proximity to Great Lakes Recruitment Center, Sarge’s Meet & Greet, restaurants, etc. is perfect. We were in town for our son’s boot camp graduation and knew we wanted more room to hang out than a typical hotel room would offer. It was great to be able to relax, watch movies, just hang out with our sailor for the precious two days we had. This place has location, location, location if you’re coming in for boot camp graduation.”

The house has everything needed from games in basement to the cozy beds to rest at night. Host was incredibly responsive and made us feel right at home. Recommended nearby places to explore and we had a great getaway overall. I would stay here again when in town. 10/10!!”

“If you rent this property, you will not be disappointed. My wife, daughter, and I highly recommend this VRBO. Its clean and fresh and exactly like it is stated in the advertising. We were also able to rent a pontoon boat as a separate agreement with the owner. The boat was also newer and clean. I don't think that you can find a better place on the chain!”

“The house was really nice, we enjoyed our stay, enough space for 10-12 people, the only problem we had was the lighting outside of the house we didn’t have any light after sunset, we had to use our phone to us bbq grill.”

“This duplex was perfect for my three sons and myself. We stayed five days to attend one of my son’s Navy Graduation! House was very clean and modern. Had everything we needed, was a nice neighborhood, quiet neighbors? Close to everywhere we needed to go. Only suggestion would be to have the owners secure the rugs, they are very slippery. ”

“Property is clean, spacious and has all the essential needs for a family vacation. Just little things that weren’t deal breakers but would suggest to make stay more pleasant. Wood floor is way too squeaky, understandable some noisy but any little movement upstairs by bedrooms you would wake up everyone. Bathroom downstairs started leaking into the laundry room. Temperature in the basement couldn’t be regulated, it was way more cold than upstairs. Plates in the kitchen didn’t look clean, would be……

“Poor communication except when they asked me to leave early so the cleaner could come in. He told me the app to download to access the house, but gave absolutely no instructions how that was to be done. Tack paper commonly used for the bottoms of drawers was used to cover the kitchen countertops, broken windows, hot upstairs, 2 wash rags and few towels, no laundry detergent, no soap, TV’s did not work, it goes on. I’m not writing this to be mean, I am writing this as feedback to the owner and……

“We had a great time. The accommodations are comfortable and Harry did a good job keeping the rental well stocked with all necessities. The house is clean! There are a few cosmetic dings here and there but overall it’s quite nice and aesthetically pleasing. The listing should mention all bedrooms upstairs which was difficult for the grandparents but we made due. Bring child gate if you have little ones. Also no high chair.
