Cabin Feel Rental
The house was cute and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was great. It was nice to have a washer and dryer too. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs and the patio looked inviting. We couldn't use the outdoor space because of the high wind storm that was going on! The owner was very accommodating and helpful, esp. when the power went off. (a company powered it off due to wind). A cozy place!

Great Place to Stay!
This property reminds me of a vacation home on a lake. It's rustic, with a relaxing ambiance, its clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need and the location is close to the foothills for hiking and biking. And the fenced yard is perfect for your pets. Overall, I highly recommend!

Great Trip
Trip was great and the house was comfortable for my brother and I who were in town for a football game. It’s an old home that has lots of character and privacy, I wouldn’t recommend this place with kids as it would be noisy and cramped. For couples and adults, it was a great spot. Just a few miles from City Center with a country feel, no complaints and the internet and smart TV gave us no issues. I would stay here again!

Great secluded getaway
Loved everything about our stay. Just get rid of the slippery rugs, without rubber backings. My brother slipped and fell with the one in hallway to bathroom.

Fall getaway
This trip was planned with my cousin, 2 nieces, and my elderly pup. Julia welcomed us to her property, including the dog, and was quick to address any questions. We loved the cottage and the location! The fully stocked kitchen meant we could prepare some meals. The firepit and patio were enjoyable for evening wind down. It was great to have full laundry as well. I would recommend this property to other groups of women planning a trip. Keep in mind there is only one bathroom, so couples groups might not fit as well.

Ample Room and Awesome Property Manager
This property is several miles from Old Town/CSU and en route to Horsetooth Reservoir. It is an older house. Outside landscaping was overgrown and the surrounding property is a VW bus graveyard. But do not let that dissuade you from staying. The inside was clean, kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, portable AC cooled most of the house, and nice touches for guests were evident such as coffee syrups, extra toothbrush, and ample paper products. The best feature was the patio, with a nice grill, that allowed a fun gathering of friends and family. If you need space, enjoy the outdoors, and do not want to be in the hustle and bustle of FoCo, I would consider this property. The property manager is super responsive and will address any of your questions or concerns.

Great spot for a weekend get away!
The house was cozy and perfect for us.., close to all the things we wanted to do but still with a country quite feel. We enjoyed the back patio and fire pit. The yard was just right for our small dogs, and we are so thankful we did not have to leave the fur babies behind. The AC in the living room, along with the fans, kept the temp comfortable. Wifi worked great which was appreciated as my cell mobile hot spot was slow and spotty. Julie our host was great and the communcation was easy. Overall it was a perfect spot for one last summer get away and we would love to come back someday!

Girls Trip
My friend and I stayed here for a week. The house is a Shabby Chic Cottage with lots of character. Our host made sure we had everything we needed. Best place to eat and site see! Awesome location! We were able to get anywhere we wanted in about a hour time. What a wonderful time we had here.😊

comfortable, clean property
My husband, adult daughter, 15 pound pug, and I were on vacation and stayed 7 days at this property. The fenced-in yard was a huge plus for us as we could let Zoey out without a leash. The beds were very comfortable and gave all us a good night's sleep. The kitchen is fully stocked. Having a washer and dryer and off-street parking were "must-haves" for us. We especially appreciated the quiet neighborhood. Our host was very gracious and responded to our texts immediately. The property is extremely clean which was greatly appreciated. We are very pleased with our stay.

Comfortable and relaxing.
We enjoyed our relaxing and comfortable stay at West End Cottage. Julia was available via text with any questions. The outside space is great with a fire pit, BBQ, shade sail, sunshine, and stars. The inside space is very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy. The kitchen is excellently stocked. Hope to stay again one day. For a table now would be a good time

Good central location for sight seeing Colorado and Wyoming.
The location is in a very quiet neighborhood. The home is older but has wonderful, unique decorations. We enjoyed our stay.

Pictures can be deceiving/still good place to stay
The owner of the home was very helpful and responded to all messages. The home is nestled in a great place, close to downtown Ft. Collins and close to access the mountains by vehicle. The downfall that friends and myself agreed upon were the house needed much work done to it. The outside of the home had landscaping needs, siding on the house needs to be fixed, and the propane tank for the gas fire pit was not very good, did not produce heat or flames on two times while we stayed. Other than a few needed update of cosmetics on the outside, the cottage was great stay.

Hi Stephanie, Thanks so much for staying with us and for your review. So sorry you had a difficult time with the fire pit. We built the fire pit because most we saw for sale were just so small. I understand it didn't seem to work for you but I assure you, my first stop was a fire pit test. Even after we spoke, I found the bottle turned off, so of course, it didn't work. Perhaps we'll make a video because we sure want folks to enjoy it.

Excellent and quaint
Enjoyed the patio and the experience of renting a house vs. a hotel. The coffee bar was awesome!!! Quaint and cozy, clean white comfy bedding and beds. Julia was awesome when we arrived !

Spacious and eclectic cottage close to everything
Wow, what a treat it was to stay here. The cottage upon entering is one, not what you'd expect from the pictures-it's better. Julia has done an outstanding job providing visitors with everything and anything you'll need for a stay. The cottage is very cozy, lots of space and has a very large fenced yard for pups to run around in. Which I had both of mine in tow. You're minutes from town, the University and hiking trails. This location worked perfectly for us as we were in town for our sons graduation from CSU. Thanks again Julia for providing such a fantastic space.

A Beautiful Stay
The Westside cottage was a wonderful place to stay. It was very clean and decorated beautifully and. artistically, with just the right amount of everything. The beds were especially comfortable , we all slept great and enjoyed the themes of each room. We had a small “get together” with friends from Fort Collins, the house was easy to get to and accommodated us very well. The host was also very nice and great at communicating, she made sure that we had everything we needed, and checked in periodically via text, she even extended our checkout time free of charge. It was a truly great snd memorable experience.

Christmas
Loved our stay! As soon as we walked in I was thrilled!! Seeing the poinsettia tablecloth on the kitchen table, the Christmas lights strung above the fireplace, the holiday pillows and decorations made it feel like Christmas. The beds are perfect and there is every type of pillow for your needs. This cozy home fit our needs perfectly...so nice to be able to open the front door and let your dog out for some free time. The kitchen has everything you need and then some. We loved our stay and would def recommend staying here. I honestly cannot think of anything negative about our stay.

Clean, comfortable and cute!
We stayed here for CSU graduation. A few of us stayed overnight, but we also had a small lunch and extended family dinner party there. It was perfect! Even though it was cold, we used the outdoor space a bit. The kitchen is supplied with A LOT more tools than I had expected--even a crock pot! Campus was a short, direct drive, so it is in a very convenient location. The beds were very comfortable, and everything felt very clean. There are some board games and puzzles, too. Excellent internet connection, and there is a llama across the street! The "coffee corner" is very cute! The entire home is very comfortable, and a great space for a "home base" while in Fort Collins.

Great cottage for family with a dog!
We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Close to town, great road and mountain biking right out the door, and perfect amount of space for five of us. Julia was amazingly helpful with early checkin and late checkout. Fenced in yard great for the dog. We highly recommend this spot!

Perfect for a Vacation with the family and pets!
This is a note I wrote to Julia, the hostess I have been having many thoughts about this cottage since we arrived that I wanted to share with you…. So here they are: Things I Like About this cabin…. Love the art work throughout the house but particularly in the bedrooms. Love the colors of each bedroom Love the bay window and chandelier in the center bedroom. The beds and linens are fabulous!!! Such wonderful sleeping. All the fans are so helpful and used a lot! Love the way the kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment and dishes and utensils for cooking and eating! Love the vacuum….. works well and the floor and rug control button are really cool and work well. The front porch is wonderful. The fenced in front yard area has made our dogs so happy and we love sitting out there with them. The back yard patio is sooooo beautiful! It is just a perfect place to relax and enjoy ourselves. It is also a good place to relax while the dogs have their fun in the front yard. The bathroom is just right. Love the decor and all the wonderful soaps, skin care lotions and shampoo, towels and supplies. Love the location…. such easy access to the mountains and the downtown area. I cannot imagine a better place to be …. Love living in a well equipped home with such easy access to cities and magnificent mountain scenery! Our best vacation ever…. Close to our daughter, to breathtaking scenery and an excellent setting for us and our dogs! Thanks for letting us be your guests for a month. I am cleaning everyday and doing my best to take care of this lovely house. I value all the love and effort that has been put into this home.

Nice, Cozy, but a few issues
This is a nice little country house in a quiet location that still offers good access to downtown Fort Collins. A couple of issues to be aware of -- The single portable air conditioner in the living room keeps the living area comfortable, but struggles to keep the bedrooms at sleeping temperatures when it is warm outside. Opening the bedroom windows once it cooled down outside did surprisingly little to cool the bedrooms. More frustratingly, the single bathroom doesn’t have a door. Instead it has a glass sliding screen that doesn’t adequately cover the doorway. Although the glass isn’t completely transparent, it leaves no doubt as to exactly what the occupant is up to and whether or not they are dressed. You’ll find yourself waiting to use the bathroom somewhere other than the house, or waiting until you are alone in the house.

Julia's rustic getaway
Very positive. So much nicer than a hotel. Interesting property to explore and well located. Julia, the owner, went out of her way to be helpful. My daughter and granddaughter decided to stay over one night and there was plenty of room. We hosted a lovely dinner for six on the back patio and grilled successfully.

A comfortable stay!
We enjoyed a 5 day stay while visiting family. The host, Julia, paid attention to little details that made our stay wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped and exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable. We loved the ample seating both inside and outside. An unexpected treat was the view of the hills from the front porch. The back yard is a work in progress, which will be awesome when Julia’s plans for fencing repair after this winter’s freeze are completed to set the cottage aside from surrounding properties. We didn’t need to use the AC unit due to cool evenings where we used fresh air supplemented by the many fans provided by the host. The cottage is located on a somewhat busy street and the outside is unassuming. The cottage is well-suited for those in search of well-supported comfort.

Charming older home with character

Great spot
We stayed here to go whitewater rafting and to visit the Rocky Mountain National Park. The three bedroom cottage made us feel right at home. The bedrooms where spacious. Good size living room and kitchen. The new patio with a fire pit was the icing on the cake. What a great place to hang out and drink beer. Very private. Love this place.

Fort Collins Farm House
House is old, but unique and very eclectic. Had everything we needed. Great front fenced yard for the dogs...they enjoyed it. Julia, the host of the property was very nice and accommodating. Only thing that was a bummer was the air conditioning....I assumed it was central AC. Nope. Portable AC in the living room. We were there during a little heat wave, was warm in house, plus the noise of AC was tiring. That being said, I would rent again...and hope for cooler weather. Fun little place....

overall it was nice.
So, I am from the country and in no way shape or form does this feel like you are out of town. It is on a very busy, noisy street. No fault of the managers, but there was a big storm right before we arrived so there was debris everywhere. (This is not the owners fault) The communication was awesome. If you need anything they are readily available. It is a cute, older little house and I am sure the fence and yard have been cleaned. I would recommend this house to anyone that doesn't mind being in the city.

We do say cozy cottage...right in town and a little bit of country...right in town. I'm sorry if you had the impression you would actually be on a remote property. We are situated on two acres. In our location, Mulberry is a two lane residential street that definitely does have work day traffic. I guess if you thought you would be on a remote property it may seem noisy at certain times of day. Thanks so much for staying with us. We appreciate your business and review.

Perfect house for my family of 4 . Beds and couch was very comfy, it was a great home base.
