“Piscina no es muy grande comparado a la cantidad de habitaciones. No había sillas disponibles.Los cuartos necesitan remodelación. Las almohadas no eran cómodas. La tubería del lavamanos olía mal. En fin siendo generoso le doy 3 estrellas de 5.”

“I can not complain at all, every thing was nice, from the comfort of the room to the wonderful breakfast, staff was awesome. We enjoyed the view of the balcony, being able to sit out and just enjoy watching the people at the beach and those passing by, the location was perfect, everything was right on the seawall, Walmart, eating places, entertainment, we could not have stayed at a better suite. Thank you for making it memorable.”

“Room not very clean. We found hair and obvious dust on the floor when we entering the room after checkin. We asked for frontdesk and then cleaned again. THen when we ate breakfast at lobby, there's no service people until at least ten mins after we sit there. But the breakfast taste good. We ordered a dish with avocado and a dish with fruits stuff. I like them, but fogive me cannot remember their names.”

“The pool was nice and breakfast was good except the need for more protein. The rooms were average and the hotel is priced right. I do like the fact that we had a fridge microwave and coffee maker in the room. Front staff were helpful and nice.”

“My husband and I loved our stay at the Carr Mansion! This historical home was charming, clean, and comfortable. Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island. The location of the home is near to several other historical landmarks/ museums, the Strand, and the Seawall. We highly recommend booking a stay at the Carr Mansion for a relaxing trip with a home-like feel that typical hotels just can’t match. We will……

“Our stay was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, we discovered the elevators were out of service, forcing us to carry our luggage up and down multiple flights of stairs. This was never communicated before our arrival. When we entered our room, we were immediately hit with a strong mold and mildew odor. There were several large industrial fans running throughout the hallways, leading us to believe the property may have experienced flooding or water damage. The front desk initially sent……

“Don’t hesitate to book this hotel. For the price it is really nice. Location couldn’t be better- from the beach it is literally steps across the parking lot. Our room was huge and would easily have fit several blowup mattresses. We had a king size room on the 5th floor- balcony and view of the water. Everything felt updated and new. Breakfast was waffles, bagels, etc., with meat on the weekends. Walking distance to many stores and restaurants. Kroger next-door. Easy parking and comfortable bed.”

“Everything is good but the showers ”

“The staff are completely rude. Check-in is at 4:00 my room wasn’t cleaned and ready till 5:00. The hotel is not up to date at all. The pictures are completely misleading. The shower heads spray water everywhere and the rods are falling out of the wall. The swimming pool was disgusting, the lounge chairs are full of bird poop as well as many being torn. We saw cockroaches at the pool as well. The elevator never worked or worked very poorly where you don’t know if the door is gonna open or you……
