「Our stay at the High Frontier Resort was only 3 days in the middle of the week, so we had the entire place to ourselves. Check-in was quick and easy, as our room keys were waiting and available at the door. 「This is a very unique property. The photos don't reveal how large the studio is. Linens, toiletries, coffee, etc. are all top-shelf. The location provides quiet solitude, great vistas, an opportunity to see wildlife, and great night-sky viewing. It is only a few miles south of Fort Davis, and the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center is directly across the road from the entrance (highly recommended). We would definitely stay here again.」

Just a note: Amtrak train stop is extremely close and their last stop in town is around 11pm and you’ll know it.
