“This is an old hotel but the upkeep leaves something to be desired. There were “ burrs” in the carpeting that clung to our socks and didn’t feel very good either! The coffee in the lobby was the worst and depleted by 7:30. There were no cup covers for the coffee cups. ”

“The place was peaceful and quiet and close to Ft Davis (very charming town). Breakfast food was ok. The hostess was less than friendly, and the unit could use a little cleaning. There was also mold growing near ceiling vents in bathroom. ”

We didn't get to enjoy the fireplace as the weather was too warm for a fire, but I bet it would have been cozy. Compared to other accommodations in the area, the price was very reasonable.
