Take in the breathtaking views of the changing colors of Fall in CO, fresh air, and gorgeous sunrises & sunsets. Light a fire in the fireplace, get cozy, watch a movie, read a great book, roast some s'mores, make some hot cocoa and take in Colorado mountain living. Outside of relaxing in the cabin, enjoy exploring the many adventures that Southern Colorado has to offer including the Great Sand Dunes, Zapata Falls, Fort Garland Museum, Toltec railroad, the Gator Farm, fishing the many surrounding lakes, scenic hikes, hot springs, and more.
The Petito Cabin is located within the spacious and private Forbes Park community. Because there is NO HUNTING allowed in the park, you may see some of the wildlife such as coyotes, wild turkeys, elk, deer, bobcats, foxes, bears and more. ATVS and MOTORCYLES are NOT allowed in Forbes Park but you can still enjoy a scenic drive or hike through the park. There is just as much fun in the cabin as there is outside of it including a smart TV to stream shows & movies on, board games, and kids entertainment including video games and a full size air hockey table!
