Perfect Location!

The condo was better than the pictures! It was clean, spacious and had everything that you need. The resort itself was in an excellent location. We were able to easily walk to Lauderdale by the Sea with our children to enjoy shops and restaurants. The tiki bar at the resort had great food and drinks. Staff were friendly!

Family vacation

We arrived there really late, almost midnight, we left the car in the valet parking and headed upstairs to our condo. At first it looked nice and clean, but when we started walking on the floor, there was so much sand that the next morning we had to sweep ourselves because no one came or responded after we posted it on the Vrbo site. This was our first time using VRbo, so maybe it was a glitch on my end. The location was great, a lot of young kids smoking and keeping us up all night, but that wasn’t the owners fault. Overall the place was nice, just old and dirty, the couches had sand under them, and it didn’t feel right to sit on them. There were a lot of stores and coffee places walking distance, the place has a full kitchen so it was great, just be aware of the bugs .

Galt Mile Condo Fort Lauderdale.

We had a great time. The place was exactly as advertised. The condo was very nice, the building was right on the beach and had a Tiki Bar and an Italian Restaurant, as well as a spa. Juan was a great host. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, large property!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were very comfy and the condo was very spacious. We didn’t cook at all but the kitchen Was well equipped. The owner was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Best Girls' Getaway Ever

My husband surprised me for Christmas with a girls' getaway. My friend and I had an amazing stay here. The condo was clean and matched the pictures exactly. The balcony is not facing the ocean, however the gorgeous sunset completely makes up for that, so don't let that be a turn off. The Tiki-bar is right outside the condo facing the beach. The food is excellent and drinks are great as well. On our first night we gave the Italian restaurant that's right downstairs (inside the building) a try. The food was AMAZING and the staff was VERY attentive. The grocery store is in walking distance as well. I have nothing bad to say about this property or our stay. Everything was PERFECT and we would stay here again.

Das App. befindet schien einer Hotelanlage. Es ist aber von dieser unabhängig. Da der Strandbereich ab 3pm im Schatten der Häuser liegt, ist die Westausrichtung optimal um dann auf dem Balkon bis zum Sonnenuntergang Sonne zu haben. Eine gewisse Lärmbelästigung durch die Strasse und den Hotelbetrieb ist vorhanden.

Perfect for a Family of 4

The property was even nicer than the pictures showed. Loved the balcony, which was off the living area. It faces west so we were able to watch the sunset every night. The only drawbacks were the awful service at the tiki bar...only two bartenders and there were close to 100 people at the bar/dining area. Also, since there are many high-rise buildings in this neighborhood, at around 3:00 the beach was completely in the shadows of the buildings. However, there were 4 beach chairs provided by the property manager and you could take them about 1/2 mile to get sun until 4:30 or so. Neither of these were a big problem fo us though. This is the best bang for the buck in the area!

Great Forida vacation

Juan's place was just as the pictures showed. It had everything we could have wanted. Bedroom and bathroom were beautiful. Loved the kitchen. We were able to walk to grocery store, small mall nearby. The best was the tiki bar. Would love to stay there again.

The building itself was nice and the condowas nice. Disappointed with a few things but overall nice

Our condo was nice. We didn't have cable service in the living room which was disappointing. Juan started that he could send a service person to fix it but we would have to be there. Or he'd come and get the cable box when he got back from vacation. Which was Sunday. We left that Tuesday. So that was basically our whole vacation. The disappointing part of that is Juan was aware it wasn't working before we arrived. So i felt it should have been fixed before we got there. Basic supplies in kitchen. Although they need to have dish towels to dry dishes. And also a flat cookie sheet for cooking in the oven. We didn't like the fact that you were basically forced to rent an umbrella and chairs for the beach because you couldn't take your own out on the private section on the beach. And you couldn't take food or drinks out unless purchased from the tiki bar on the condo property. That is wrong. It was clear people didn't follow the rules. But you had to sneak or hide it. I didn't like that we didn't know that info before choosing this location. Although the facility is nice, those things can cost you alot of money during the week. The pool was nice. But the pool deck itself didn't appear to get cleaned much. The tiki bar was nice. Drinks a little pricey. But food was good. We had no problem with the elevators as others have mentioned. Overall a nice stay but some things were disappointing.

Nice location

The unit is comfy with enough space for 4 people. Kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfy with soft sheets. Plenty of towels. The beach chairs and umbrellas were nice. It was a bit loud since the unit is literally right in front of the elevators and when the AC came on it was loud. Other than that it was a great location close to grocery store, restaurants and shopping.

Nice Condo great area!

I didnt give 5 star because of issues with the cleaning lady Elizabeth. I will explain what happened with her & end with a little info about the resort. I rented Juans condo with my 11yr son. Juan was great! Very accommodating, nice & helpful also quickly responsed to my emails answering any questions i had. The condo was not only cheap but nice. He has everything you would need! Good amount of towels, blow dryer, night light, hand soap, hangers in the large walkin closets, dish soap, utensils, dishes, also 2 beach chairs which was great because the resort charges to rent them. Very nice space & roomy. Bedroom has a door you can close also a separate a/c control. From the livingroom dinning room & kitchen. The view is not beach front its the front of the resort still a beautiful view. Nice sized patio with privacy has 2 chairs & a table. One couch has pull out bed. I took this vacation w my sister & her 2 teenagers they came over for a while & it wasnt too crowded. I would definitely come back & rent from Juan again. The issues with Elizabeth the cleaning/housekeeper. Juan was great & last min let us check in early. While i was changing into my swimsuit my son came to get me i come out to the livingroom to find a lady in our room (my son didnt let her her). I was clearly in the middle of changing as i only had my swimsuit top on & my romper hanging at my waist. I told her i was just changing & Juan said we could check in early she said she didnt know & wanted to drop off some stuff (had a few things in her hand) then she went on to ask when we were checking out i said we had a late check out & i wasnt sure of the time because not only did we just get there but i had not slept much. She went on asking so i tried to find my phone to check. Couldnt find it. So i again repeated idk she said Juans message said 2pm i said well that must be the time & repeated i wasnt sure i was tired. She then went on to ask what time our flight was leaving. I again said i wasnt sure & repeated myself again. She then said ok & asked if she could put the stuff she had in the closet i said that it was fine. Was all annoying but she was nice. The morning of our last day i emailed Juan & explained Elizabeth stopped by. After i rechecked the email to confirm our late check out time from a month prior. I told Juan we had a 3pm check out & that i agreed with Elizabeth with the 2pm time she insisted Juan told her. My sister & her children brought there luggage to our room
