「We were a little nervous when we saw that this was a "self-serve" place but honestly, we were very pleased with the price and condition, and everything went well!」

「The room was fresh smelling when we entered. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the pool and the temp was perfect. The only complaint I have is the neighbors were so noisy until 4 in the morning so the sleep wasn’t the best. 」

「The first room we were booked in was the wrong room, and had a guests belongings in it. The second room we were booked in had mold in the microwave. The third and final room seemed ok, until the next day where we found out the shower didn't work. I would never return to this place, very horrible conditions.」

They didn’t have a hot breakfast, the eggs and sausage warmers were not clean cleaned from the previous day and so they just didn’t make eggs and sausage for Sunday morning. When I asked I was told “she didn’t make it” with no offer to rectify the issue. It smelled like cigarettes I. The hallways. 」

While the new renovations looked nice at first glance, it was clear they were done poorly—it felt like they simply slapped a layer of paint on the walls and called it finished, without addressing underlying issues. 「The lake was majestically frozen this time of year. We enjoyed the view of it from the full floor to ceiling windows of our Cedar cabin. The sauna beside the lake with a full bathroom with shower was a luxury for this time of year. I imagine the small building that houses it is also a luxury for after swimming in the lake.This property is beautiful. It has to be a joy during the summer, however it is very pricey. 「Great hotel」

「Pool not working. Most of motel used for workers for fish house on a monthly basis. And didn't speak english. Frig didn't work. Good internet. Noisy in hallway but did sleep well. Definitely not worth price I paid on expedia. Room was close to door that was unlocked all the time. Owners were gone and staff were friendly, felt sorry for them. Advertising does not match motel. Lousy painting job in room. Heat did work, thankfully. 」

「The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Rooms are very dated. The fireplace in the room didn’t work and the phone in the room didn’t work when I tried to call the desk for assistance. The front desk staff wasn’t very helpful. View of the lake was the best thing about the property. 」
