"Very clean, nicely decorated, modern room. Great breakfast, variety of hot and cold choices. Sadly no bar, or mini bar in the fridge but bottled water supplied daily, together with tea and coffee making facilities. Overall a lovely boutique hotel in a great location."

"Beautifully restored boutique hotel, close walking distance to everything in Valetta but a street off so it’s not loud at night. Comfy beds."

"Breakfast is excellent a really good choice and well stocked. The room was spacious and had everything we needed the down side of the room was a silly blue motion sensor light that goes off all the time and really disrupts sleep. The robes need replacing a bit rough and old. It says there is a 24 hour shuttle from airport when I booked but there is not. What was disappointing is the indoor pool and outdoor pool are managed by another provider and they let you know. No robes or slippers in the spa for hotel guests a massive cockroach in the sauna not even a sorry. Quite a long walk through basement to indoor pool so make sure you collect your towel from reception this was a bit of a pain. You also have to book your sun lounger a day ahead. The beachfront hotel guests aren’t allowed in the front rows or around the pool that’s reserved for everyone else so didn’t feel like a five star. Tea and coffee provided in room but no biscuits but a nice chocolate and a turndown service. "

"Location is central with great view on roof top. But it is no up to the 4 star hotel standard. The standard room we booked did not have proper window and shower. We had to upgrade to a “balcony” room to get those. But the room was the last one available and it had a strange smell. There were multiple large trash containers across the narrow street from the hotel entrance. We smelled trash and saw flies coming into the hotel all the time. Not a satisfactory stay, to say the least."

"This is a beautiful, chic, well-equipped property. The views from the balcony are spectacular. The apartment had everything we needed. All the appliances were in excellent condition and easy to understand and use. The kitchen was fully fitted with cooking utensils and cookware. We were especially pleased that our host, Daniel’s, parents met us and helped us check into the apartment. They shared some lovely wine and snacks with us and fully briefed us on the apartment. Daniel was very responsive and helpful, both before and during our stay. For others considering this apartment, it is a short Bolt ride to Valletta. There is also a ferry that is a 15 minute walk away. Daniel has provided a “user’s manual” for the apartment, which discusses shopping and restaurants. While there are many, many stairs in the neighborhood and in the apartment, the views and confort of the apartment were, in our minds worth the climbs."
