Shout-Out to Goldie!

This was my second stay at the Avid Hotel. I chose it again because of its good location, ample parking, and hospitality. This trip was a ‘Girls Outing’. I want to specifically give a shout-out to Goldie, who I think is the hotel manager. At check-in, she was kind enough to ensure we all had rooms on the same floor. Her customer service and attention to every detail were outstanding. I also thank Goldie for her patience and problem-solving when one of the girls requested a room change. And I appreciate the 24hr fitness center. I will stay at the Avid Hotel whenever I visit Ft Wayne, and I highly recommend it to others.

The property itself was nice and clean. However, it was very loud. I could hear people walking around above me, and hearing every door close was very disturbing and annoying.

This was a beautiful newly remodeled hotel. Everything was very clean with lots of space for the wheelchair in our room. The night manager was extremely kind. The only disappointment was our room darkening shade only lowered halfway. The manager said she could send someone up to the room, in a half an hour, to look at it. However, we had traveled all day and we were very tired. The parking lot lights and morning sun light, came filtering in our room during our stay.
