The exterior was in terrible condition. Lighting throughout the building was dark and sketchy. Carpets were old, worn, and torn. Landscaping in terrible shape, building exterior in poor shape. The place *actually* smelled. Like rotten food. The guy running the front desk was sitting in the lobby watching TV when we came in, he exasperatedly got up to check us in. Our room wasn’t good. The linens literally had stains on them, I can only speculate what the stains were from. There were three pillows on the bed, the pillows were the size of throw pillows you’d put on your couch. I went to the guy at the front desk and asked for a few more pillows. He said, “You already have three.” I reasoned with him, and he finally said, “I will give you one more.” I said, “Are you worried about having to give people too many pillows tonight?” He said, “The rooms, they come with three.” Lol. My wife was almost in tears. I drove across the road to Wyndham and booked a room, went back to get my wife, and told the guy watching TV, “We’re not staying here. Have a good night.”
The place was awful, but worse than that, the attitude of management towards people is the worst. Avoid at all costs.
