“My daughter goes to Grace college and was turning 21 over the weekend. I took my grandmother, six-year-old, and my daughters friends came to hang out. We loved how close the park is to the house as I brought my 8 pound fur baby as well and she loved our walks as much as I down to the lake. We were so close to the village, we were able to walk down and spend time at the pottery painting studio as well! The fire on the back patio was a wonderful addition and we cooked s’mores with the older group.……

The downstairs is spacious, and updated somewhat recently, but the upstairs is rather dated and run down. The lighting in the main bathroom is horrible. “The house was in good shape and well suited for a large group. We had 10 that slept comfortably. Property manager responded promptly. Some minor misinformation on the VBRO site (likely just out of date) such as an incorrect WiFi password and sending the door code the day prior to arrival, but these were minor things that were resolved promptly with no issue. Overall an enjoyable experience and a nice setting on the lake. Some nearby gunshots in the early morning hours both days could be heard...……

“This place met and exceeded our expectations for our family Thanksgiving get together. We had 8 of us total staying ranging from 8-75 and everyone just loved the house. The highlights: The Wifi is fast - you don't usually see that in a rural setting. The ping pong table and foosball table where big hits with all ages. The porch was a great space to enjoy some coffee and reflect while looking out at the lake. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Did I mention the lovely……

“Upon arrival the house was smaller than expected but after we checked in it was perfect . Everything worked as it should and there were no issues the whole time we were there . The owner supplied free firewood for the late nights outside while the deck at the waterfront and large docking area for the boats was appreciated much as well .
