Very nice and comfortable home. Communication was good and prompt. Close to the Stockyards, but we did drive and was easy to park. We heard cars, but it didn't bother us, we slept fine. Bathroom shower curtain can be replaced. Everything was great!

Close to Stockyard attractions. Check in, access and parking were fine. Walking distance to Stockyard attractions but a bit far. Easy to drive to Stockyards and park. House laid out nicely. Could use some more amenities like coffee, salt & pepper. Could have been cleaner but was ok. Ovetall would consider staying there again.

Stockyards Weekend Getaway!

This property is a great option for a family, girlfriends/guyfriends getaway! Its 3 BIG block from the stock yards, but walkable if wanted. We walked the first evening but used rideshare the rest of the time (older family). Loved having a garage to park out vehicle in and felt very secure. Only Con, the street noise but it gets quite around 10 or so.

Great overall experience. Very good “social space” and walking distance to stockyards. Interior design was a perfect match for a cowboy themed party in the stockyards.

Near stockyards home.

Our stay was great. Just as it was described and was very comfortable, relaxed, and had plenty of space. Nice to have use of a garage and not have to worry about parking down at the stockyards which was in east walking distance (a couple of blocks). Host was very responsive with any questions we had.

Stockyards stay

Our group of friends enjoyed our 4 night stay. We frequented the Stockyards which was a short walk or Uber away. The location was perfect for us, we attended an event at Dickies arena, Farrington field and the Will Roger's memorial center. The house was spacious enough for our group, bedrooms and bathrooms accommodated us well. The decor of the house was perfect for the location. We did have issues with the AC our first night but it was addressed immediately by the owner. The rest of our stay was great!.

Great fit for our needs

Property was just as advertised - clean, comfortable and well equipped. Three teens each had their own space while my husband and I enjoyed having the master bedroom and bath to ourselves. We left early and came home late as we explored Fort Worth and Dallas and the house was a good home base. I appreciate the host’s flexibility and direct communication for some timing shifts in our plans.

We enjoyed our stay very much. David answered messages immediately. Easy to access. Plenty of room. beds were comfortable. Had basic supplies for cooking. We bought laundry detergent and left it there for the next group. You can walk to Stockyards but it felt a little further than it sounds probably because it was hot. Would visit again!

Very quaint house. Walking distance to the stockyards.

Housekeeper left a couple things not swept up and there were sheets left in the dryer which we folded. Second bathroom faucets in the shower need to be replaced. Other than that very cozy and comfortable. Host is very accommodating and we stay here every year we come. No major complaints. Overall great place to stay.

Perfect girls weekend

This was a girls trip with 3 of my friends to visit the stockyards. We were able to walk there each day and find loads of activities to do close by. When the day led into the evening hours it was very easy to cash a uber home within a couple of minutes. The house was clean and spacious and was more than we could have wanted. The theme was perfect for being close to the stockyards. They even had a reference for places to visit for the 'vibe' you are going for which we used and was so helpful. Host was responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here!

Great host

This home is an older home a short walk to the Ft Worth Stockyards. It had everything we needed for our stay. The fenced yard was very nice with a covered seating area and picnic tables. There are several areas for people to hang out in and a double garage for parking a small car. Unfortunately, the neighborhood is very loud. There were many loud cars driving by late at night. The host has supplied sound machines in the bedrooms which helped a bit.

Fun in Ft Worth

The property was in a good location and we felt safe. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the Stockyards or a 5 Uber. Which was perfect! The decor was interesting and fun. 2 car garage was perfect. Cleanliness was an issue. We swept up dead bugs upon our arrival and everything was very dusty and we tried to clean up a bit. The second night when we began showering, the tubs would not drain and we had to call the manager who sent plumbers over immediately to resolve the issue. Unfortunately we had reservations and some in our group were unable to shower. Check out was easy.

Great location to Stockyards

The house was easy walking distance to stockyards. Easy drive to downtown Ft Worth. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for family. Host was easy to get ahold of and everything went smooth. Neighborhood was safe to walk to Stockyards and side walks all around. Some things to note: the house is on the corner of a very busy 4 way stop sign. This is a cut through to the other part of town so traffic will come and go all hours of the day and night during the week. Everyone in the area has loud exhaust on their trucks so you will hear it all night. School across street they mow at 5 AM during the week. This has nothing to do with the property itself as host was great and supplied noise machines in rooms but something that kept us up all night coming from living in the country where it's quiet at night. If you live in a city it may not be an issue at all but just a heads up to families looking for quiet at night.
