“The Bay Motel was a unique surprise. My wife and I were looking for something simple and affordable to simply sleep while we were visiting our daughter...what a Gem. The staff was friendly and warm, the room was spacious, and the bed was outstanding. When we travel as a we seldom eat in the hotel restaurant, the coupons we received at check-in convinced us to give it a try...we were blown away by the speed, attentiveness of our server,, and the fresh meal we received. Affordable. Welcoming.……

“We were traveling through and picked a budget hotel. The room was huge, 2 doubles (not queens) and a pull out. Room is very dated but that was expected. Typical breakfast layout with cereal, toast yogurt coffee waffle maker and eggs from a box. Also had biscuits and gravy. Room clearly was smoked in or had animals in the past as my allergies were awful through the night. But overall what we exprected”

“Nice hotel. Clean. Comfortable beds. We could not close the shade in our room. It was broken and it was super bright way too early. I also never mentioned anything to have it fixed. So that’s. It entirely on them. However the refrigerator was LOUD. Annoying so. Overall comfortable and clean”

“Shower gel dispenser was empty. After check out we wanted to look at the workout room and asked the desk clerk where it was. She told us but the door was locked and our cards no longer worked. When we told the desk clerk this all she said was “sorry”. It was our first visit and we can probably find accommodations just as nice for the money. We won’t likely be back.”

“The breakfast could have been a lot better and the lady looked like she was mad about her life choices every morning. We say good morning and she says nothing back. We are from the south where saying good morning is a common thing but I guess it’s not in WI … they decided to paint the hallway while we were there and didn’t post signs and I got paint on my sleeve.. other than that the hotel was clean… it was nice. No real complaints”

“The staff was amazing! There were a couple room issues we brought to the staff's attention, which they handled promptly. The bed was comfy. Room was great. The only downfall of the room was how loud the AC unit is when it kicks on...unfortunately I'm a light sleeper and woke up almost everytime it turned on. Overall, I would recommend.”
