Ironman stay

The location and house were perfect for the ironman this year. The only downside was not knowing there was NO A/C in the unit. It wasn't terribly hot with the fan and windows open but would have been a little more comfortable with A/C especially the night before the race. The twin beds were also a little more firm/hard than expecting. Overall, great location and price for the weekend.

Great stay at This property.

We loved everything about this place. Clean, comfortable, bright and cheery! Loved being so close to the beautiful lake and nice neighborhood.

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication

Property was okay. Cleaners left garbage and lots of dead bugs. Had no hot water on day1 and no water at all on day 2. Local property manager NEVER fixed water problem so we vacated at 1 pm on day 2. A pathetic refund of 34.57 was offered on a payment of 1123.74 for 5 nights. The local property manager never advised when water would be available so by the afternoon of day 2 we had no choice but to vacate the property. Have received no refund. The company I communicated with during this entire fiasco, Vacasa, was totally inept.

I rented this property for my daughter who was getting married locally this weekend. She and 2 bridesmaids stayed Friday evening after the rehearsal dinner and venue set-up. They arrived late at dark and couldn’t determine where the driveway/parking was, so they parked at the boat launch. My daughter said there was hair on the bedding and spiders/cobwebs in the cottage….which I guess I expected would have been cleaned up prior to arrival. The twin beds were so hard they couldn’t even sleep on them. One ended up sleeping on the couch and the second slept in the main bedroom with my daughter. The mattress sank in the middle so they ended up sleeping back to back, in the middle. The following morning they had to take cold showers as there was no hot water. Saturday night the newlyweds were supposed to stay at the property but based on the conditions chose not to. Just disappointed overall as I was trying to do something special for my daughter’s big weekend.
