「we had a lovely family reunion in a beautiful home. There was, however, an outside noise ordinance of 9:00 pm that was not included with the listing. When providing such a lovely large property that sleeps so many people and with an outdoor firepit, grill and hottub...one would like to know in advance if this was going to be an issue.Otherwise, the home was just perfect for our reunion.」

「This is a beautiful property with lots to do and exceptional privacy. It was clean and comfortable. The description of the water access was deceiving. There wasn’t swimming access at the dock. It had lots of floating algae and was mucky with sick and leaf debris. A 4 person boat was provided and that was a life saver. However it was quite an adventure shutting 14 people out for a place to swim on a 4 person boat. The owner were very responsive and had interactive scavenger hunts and games.」

「Great lodge decor and a comfy bed. Located close to hiking and Lake Placid.」

「This was a great quiet location and the views of the water were as advertised. We enjoyed exploring the nearby lakes and connector streams with the kayaks provided. Pets loved the nice walk along the gravel road above the house. Really well done inside as well and close to tupper lake for food. Highly recommend the woodshed on park restaurant in town. Everything was so good and great service.」

「This was a nice place to stay for a brief, overnight stay. It was conveniently located in the heart of town and just a stone's throw away from the beautiful Long Lake. The room was a little basic but it did have a super refreshing shower. Would stay again because of the nice staff & convenience factor.」

「This is a perfect camp for our family!! (8 adults & 5 children) The views can't be beat!! We loved the peace and quiet (except for our "Littles" running around), the screened in extra kitchen so we could spread out and having access to two boats. My grandson loves tubing so that was a must every day!! We used the fire pit and outside games one night -- I thought we would use every night but everyone was so tired from our busy days on the water with fishing and swimming - bedtime was early...

「This was the perfect woods home. Close to hiking, biking, the Ausable Chasm, Lake Placid, Whiteface - whatever we were looking to do, it was a short drive away. The pool and hot tub were great, although a bit cold as we were there later in the season.」

「Great lodge. Well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Outdoor jacuzzi and fire pit was awesome.」
