“Very clean and furnished with EVERYTHING you might need. Single lane road proved challenging on one occasion when we came head to head with 2 other vehicles and a ditch on each side. Driveway near by enabled us to pull over a little…but not too far as backing down the driveway would be difficult. Driveway to our house was steep but much better. Good shopping and eating in town plus easy drive to Waynesville and Cherokee.”

“Property was as described. Host was able to be contacted for any issues that arose. The hosts also graciously provide k-cup coffee and kindling for the riverside fire pit. The area is nicely remote enough to be quiet but close enough that a 20 min ride gets you most anything you’d need. One word of advice is that if you plan on a having a fire over a few nights time then it might be better to bring your own wood or ask the host for a contact for wood delivery. You will spend a small fortune if……

“Wonderful large covered porch. We only used one of the beds and it slept great. Location convenient to highway and downtown. Brenda is very accessible and ensures you’re comfortable during your stay.”

“I stayed with my friends and family mid. November, even though all the trees had lost their leaves the views from the porch were stunning. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and plenty of space. Yes, the driveway is steep but, after doing it once it’s not a problem. I personally wouldn’t attempt it in a car though. We had 2 small SUVs and just used the low gear. Linda was very fast responding to our questions. We hope to come back when it’s warmer.”

A big plus is everybody having their own bathroom AND everyone loves the entertainment room. We have already booked our next stay.”
