Our home is perfect for a family reunion or a few friends with their kids. The Round House is located in a quiet subdivision 4 miles from the town of Winter Park. There is no train or highway noise, just tranquil sunny treed views and peaceful mountain surroundings. We take great pride in keeping our home updated and love to hear our returning guests comment on any changes. We just got new carpet throughout, remodeled all 3 bathrooms and replaced some windows. We also added new mattresses and now have 2 king beds. We strongly prefer no more than 10 adults and 16 people maximum. Additionally, this is our only rental, we won’t direct you to ‘other listings’ and we are not after maximizing our bookings. Weekly stays offer the best rate. ROUND HOUSE 5 Bedroom SUMMARY (2 spacious floors with roomy bedrooms):
- Cozy, clean, comfortable, southern sun with amazing ambiance, mountain sunset and meadow views, and Wi-Fi
- The Round House sleeps 16 guests all on comfortable beds: 2 King, 3 Queens, 1 Full, 4 Twins, 1 crib, there are NO Bunks, Futons, or sofa sleepers
- Hot water heating system has 6 separate controls for your comfort (cool bedrooms, warm living areas)

UPSTAIRS (1750 sf): NO STEPS to this main level with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, SUNNY & COZY
- Great room with sunny panoramic meadow views, wood burning stove, intimate seating for 9 (think sipping hot cocoa around a crackling fire)
- Gourmet fully-equipped kitchen with large pantry
- Large slab table seats 10+ comfortably plus 5 bar-stools at the kitchen bar
- Deck off kitchen with fire pit table, 8 chairs in summer, umbrella and barbecue grill
- Master bedroom (moose): King bed, TV, and twin bed with full bathroom (shower and separate tub) remodeled 5/24, walk-in closet
- 2nd bedroom (fish): Queen bed and a double bed
- 3rd bedroom (tree): King bed, plus hotel sized crib (sheets supplied)
- Second full Bathroom, with shower, remodeled 1/24

- Laundry room with full sized washer/dryer plus hooks for hanging clothes
- 8 man hot tub off rec room with views of meadow and stars
- A big meadow where sledding, snowman and tunnel building can entertain kids’ young and old for hours, or if weather allows roast marshmallows in outside firepit

Great communication. House is very well stocked for a larger crew to unpack and truly have a home away from home experience. Loved that the owners even encouraged us to Huse the wood burning stove and even provided ample supply of wood. Kitchen has everything you need to cook for a larger group.

Great family place

Summer hiking, alpine slide, gondola rides and s’mores by the fire pit, hot tub and shopping along with good family meals and games and conversations filled our time in WinterPark.We watched the humming birds, and other wildlife, enjoyed the serenity. the trees and flowers, and were able to commune with God.

Brought the family out to go skiing. Great place with plenty of amenities We cooked most nights and the kitchen was well stocked. Winter Park is an excellent destination.

The Roundhouse did not disappoint!

We stayed at the roundhouse for our annual boys ski wknd that my friends and I have been doing for almost 20 yrs. The roundhouse had terrific reviews so we stayed there and it did not disappoint. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could want or need which was very nice especially cuz many vrbos will not have basic condiments, etc. Plenty of space in the house for the seven of us. We enjoyed the ping pong table and especially enjoyed the hot tub. One of the best hot tubs I’ve ever been in with really powerful jets which was just what the doctor ordered each night after a full day of skiing. Two things to be aware of that we overlooked. There is no garage which I’m sure was stated in the description but we just overlooked. We thought that was going to be a big deal b/c we don’t like leaving our car out in the cold but with todays cars all having auto start buttons, we were able to start car and warm it up and not having a garage never was an issue. Secondly there is no tv in the upstairs living area next to the kitchen. We thought that was going to be an issue but it turned out being a great thing b/c we all sat around and actually talked to each other vs staring at a tv. There is a really nice tv in the downstairs living area which has a really nice sprawling couch that fit all of us and a really nice tv where we watched the Super Bowl. All arid great house and we would definitely stay here again.

Thanksgiving Family Trip

The house was a great place to stay with my family for Thanksgiving weekend. There was plenty of room for all 10 adults and 4 kids. The house was clean and comfortable. The hot tub and fire pit was relaxing and the Kids loved playing in the snow! Would recommend this house for any family get together!

Family Gathering

We love the Round House! It was our second time there. We enjoyed the renovated bathrooms and having two king sized beds available. The well-stocked kitchen accommodated multiple cooks & helpers. The meadow was bursting with wildflowers and the hummingbirds fun to watch on the patio. The new fire pit was magical. We had the garden hose at-the-ready due to high fire danger. Our family had a wonderful stay there. What a joy.

Great place for our Colorado family vacation

Accurate listing. Kitchen was all labeled making everything easy to find. It was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook all our meals. The kids took over the lower level and the adults enjoyed all the windows overlooking the meadow. We especially enjoyed watching all the hummingbirds using the feeder!. Every day we were on the lookout for a moose and finally on the last morning we saw a young one in the meadow. We went on several hikes, nothing was too far of a drive from the round house. It was so nice to see mountains all around us from the town of Fraser. Great house to use as our home base for all of our adventures!

Great family share.

After a few bumps due to contractors not completing work on time, this house worked great for our family. The kids took over the basement and adults stayed away. We all enjoyed the hot tub which really felt good on cooler evenings. We enjoyed the rodeo, Rocky Mountain National Park, river rafting and Winter Park Resort gondola on Friday and Saturday from 4-7-free rides to the top where there is an awesome view and bar and restaurant as well as games for the kids. All and all it was a wonderful time for this Indiana family completely out of their element. The owners were always there for questions and concerns. Thanks for the memories. It was a great time for all.

Famiky Reunion Celebration

The house was amazing, clean, kitchen was very nice. Ping pong table, games and hot tub kept everyone entertained...and lots of room for everyone. We fished, went to Grand Lake, Grandby and Shadow Mountain to fish, also nice shopping... (also ponds near downtown for easier. The Winter Park Lodge was very nice and the Gondola ride up to the top was amazing. During our stay we were treated to a young Moose walking through the meadow behind the house and lots of humming bird visits on the deck.We all had a great time and this beautiful home was perfect for all of us.

As always, a great Spring Break stay at the Round House

Our extended family has been spending every other spring break at the Round House for well over 25 years. By this time it really does feel like we are coming home. The house is always clean and well equipped for large groups of varying ages. It looks nice, but is also cozy and comfy. Our host is quick to reply to our texts if we have questions. Beautiful Natural Setting

Once you enter the house the windows surrounding the living area create a sensation of being in nature. Beautiful views of the snow covered meadow and mountains in the distance. The house is well furnished with a very well organized kitchen. The labeled cabinets and drawers help to efficiently find needed items. The property owners did an excellent job of communicating throughout our stay, and responded to our needs quickly. Overall the house was a good choice for our family’s gathering.

Christmas with our family in Colorado

The house was very cozy and nice. It was big enough for our family. The owner decorated the house for Christmas , they even had glasses and mugs with Christmas design. We felt right at home. The view was very nice and the fireplace was awesome There was a spa, but we didn’t used it because of our activities. Overall we were very happy with our choice.

Perfect Family Getaway!

My family just wanted a space where we could all be together. There are 14 of us across four states, so togetherness is a rare occasion and therefore all the more treasured. The accomodations and supplies at the Round House was more than we could have hoped for. Plenty of room for parents and grandparents and littles! A kitchen big enough for baking day, a table large enough for family meals, and plenty of room for a game night or two! The hosts were incredibly communicative and the house was clean and beautiful. Made our momma cry! Anyway, we couldn't be happier with our experience at the Round House and everyone is already anxious to plan a revisit soon!!
