"First the Vallet guys were amazing. Front desk service great! The room though. Not so good. Not really a 4 star experience. Dirty clothes left in closet, "clean" robes all stained in the closet as well with the dirty shirt. But my number one why I will never stay again. Is when I left to go the the Blazers. My room was went through and changed.. Lights turned off and different ones turned on. As well as my toilet used by someone.. Without my knowledge. With clear signage of do not disturb shown. First day on arrival an hour and a half after I check in and leave for an event. Is very sketchy. "

"My favorite hotel in Portland Me and my kids have stayed at about 14 different hotels in Portland over the years. Our favorite was the Ritz Carlton for a long time until we stayed here. The property is kept in very good condition, excellent valet, easy check in, clean room, comfortable beds, lovely coffee shop, and helpful staff. This place has a very calming atmosphere. I have an autistic child and the rooms have an extra door that blocks the room from the bathroom area and high shelf’s that help a lot with putting things away so she can’t get into them. Also if you choose to get a room with a view it’s definitely worth it because you get to see the river and all of downtown Portland. This is an excellent choice if visiting Portland. "

"The front desk person took 20 minutes to check us in, the rooms are not that cleanly, and we asked for a crib because the property description said the hotel offered it and the front desk staff said they didn’t. But we asked a nice lady from housekeeping and she kindly got us a crib for our room. "

"Very fun stay, nice flowers outside, pretty scenery in the front yard, kids loved the upstairs, safe furniture, and we loved the welcome book that people signed it was very cute! Quiet space also lots of privacy."

"The guy at the desk was friendly and kind. The room was pretty good, with mini fridge and microwave, great thing to have. The whole property is gated including parking, accessed with your room key so the feeling of safety is superb. Good shower. The biggest issue was the room smell, which I didn’t expect from a non smoking room. However the room didn’t smell like smoke, but it did not good, almost to the point of me wanting to ask to switch rooms. The second issue was the carpet, which felt dirty and had numerous large obvious stains. The manager who escorted me to the room after check in said that the stains were only there because they couldn’t get them out, implying that the carpet was clean but the stains were too tough to remove. I would argue that the stains probably were possible to get out with a lot of elbow grease. Either way if I were management I would replace them rugs entirely. The neither bad nor good was that I booked two nights but I happened to need to leave early. So I went down right at checkout to see if I could get a refund for the second night, which I thought would be okay since I was getting out in time as if I paid for one night, at checkout time. However the manager after looking me up said that it was not refundable because I booked my 2 nights online and he wasn’t able to charge me just for the one night I was there and I couldn’t get a refund. This I don’t exactly hold against the them, yes I could "

"Easy parking, great food within walking distance. Easy communication with the owner. I would consider if you have pet allergies as they are dog friendly. "
