「A charming cabin on a quiet road in a fairly rural area. The kitchen was well equipped with all kinds of pots, pans, and kitchen tools. We had a lovely time, and may return in the future for an anniversary trip. Groceries and other services were about three miles away - not too close and not too far.」

「PERFECT! We wanted a short getaway in the mountains that was relaxing and quiet and that is just what we got. We enjoyed a nice lunch with not a single sound but the rain falling before heading to explore The cabin is private and cozy, and very clean, the linens smelled wonderful and fresh. Highly reccomend! (Also there is one of the most nap worthy arm chairs we have ever seen) 」

「Perfect place to stay if you love sitting outside and listening to nature. The propert was clean and comfortable. Easy distance to travel to Gettysburg or DC (we did both.) Overall, as a family of 4, we would love to return if we ever make it back this direction. 」

「The rental description & photos accurately matched the home. Our group of 5 used all 4 bedrooms comfortable mattresses and furniture. We loved lazy mornings on the deck with beautiful mtn views. Afternoons were an easy 10 minute drive to enjoy the theatre festival in Shepherdstown. Several deer sighting (be cautious driving). 」

「Overall, we had a great stay! There was plenty to do in the local area, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The game room was a lot of fun—the ping pong table was a big hit for us adults; however, the foosball table would probably be more enjoyable for kids, as it is on the smaller side. 「Had a few day getaway with my best girlfriends. We had a minor issue because the code to enter did not work, but it was quickly resolved. This home is off the beaten path and private and quiet, but close enough (about 25 minutes drive) to go into Harpers Ferry for shopping and rafting/tubing. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and wish we could’ve stayed an extra day or two. The home was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and a fire pit. We will definitely come back.! 」

「My two friends and I really enjoyed our girls trip to Harpers Ferry. The cabin was lovely and quiet, clean and fully stocked. We enjoyed cooking and playing cards. Sadly we didn’t get to use the hot tub because it was hot and humid outside. We’ll just have to come back in the fall! 」
