“Great place at an amazing price! Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking. The host left “just in case items” and a binder of things to do in the area which both were greatly appreciated. Host was nice. The house is older but updated. However, there are a couple areas that needed fixed but they didn’t hinder our stay in any way. I would definitely recommend this place to others. ”

“Overall we had a good stay we were there for a week visiting the Gettysburg sites, Hershey and Harpers Ferry. This is right on a road but fortunately not a busy road. This is a cabin in the woods so don’t expect to find zero bugs. Everything was as described a good deep cleaning of cob webs in windows etc would go a long way. The outside patio was not swept upon arrival and we did it once and it lasted the week. Grass also could use a mowing. The sound of the creek and the woods behind with the……

“Home was beautiful, clean and had all necessary supplies. Met our families needs excellent. Location is isolated but easy drive to Gettysburg, DC, Arlington , Harper’s ferry and more.”

“It was ok. To get entry code one day ahead, I had to call. Customer service is awesome. Spoke to Westa, she was very helpful. Initially right after checking in there was some odor a, house is lot opened for a while. AC was irregular- cold in 1st level but feel hot upper levels. One would feel cold air hitting feet while standing near kitchen sink! Bathroom were new. Not extra towels or sheets! Kitchen is well stocked with utensils.we left specula/ tongs as well. Outside grill was disaster. We……

“Beautiful cabin in the forest especially in the evening when the fire flies out and the sun sets.”

“This property was perfect for our peaceful retreat. Traveling with babies can always be daunting, but i was pleasantly surprised by all the baby amenities at the cabin. There were baby plates, bowls, and utensils. Even though we did plan ahead and bring our own highchairs, we did notice there were actually options for highchairs at the cabin already! Also, the host was amazingly quick and friendly with all communication.”
