Incorrect room description. Booked a king and got a Queen. Asked for a refund so that we could book a room elsewhere. The owners did not respond until after our trip.

Cozy & Quaint Cabin Getaway
Loved the nostalgic feel of the rooms and proximity to 3 wineries! The location was also convenient for traveling the 290 Wine Trail and going to Luckenbach, The reason we didn't give it a "5" is due to the check-in process. We never received an email with the lock box code. If it weren't for a couple we met at the winery next door who had the phone number of the on-call person, we may have waiting for a long time for them to get back with us. (29th in line when calling!) A tiny inconvenience was trying to handle the Mr. Coffee on the microwave without the needed room. I managed and, thankfully, the coffee provided tasted GREAT! (And I'm a coffee snob) All-in-all, we highly recommend staying here!

Great location! Perfectly situated between Fredericksburg Main Street and the 290 Wineries. Easy access to the building and it made for a cozy spot at the end of the day. However, the bed is terribly hard and made sleeping miserable. Also, just get rid of all of the throw pillows--clearly they are not cleaned regularly and are not something most people would want on a bed where they lay their faces.

All around gem
Quiet, private, clean, and so cozy! It’s a huge bonus that it’s located next door to the Fiesta Winery! Wine glasses, and mugs are convenient provided for your wine and coffee drinking needs, along with muffins, and cereal. So cute! The only downside is the mattress was too firm, and the central heat was loud. The vent and intake is located in the bedroom, and it blew all night, and would make noises like sand was being ground up. Silver lining though; it HAS central heat and AC, and the bed and linens were CLEAN! We loved it, and look forward to returning!

We liked the location and the appearance. Very homey and cute. We liked that it was away from the busy part of town! The price was good compared to other accommodations that are not nearly as attractive in appearance & welcoming & unique. Just a few suggestions.: We had trouble figuring out to use the lock box & getting it open & especially since it was dark. (One broken fingernail as a result.) Instructions would have helped. Also - there should be some kind of security lock, especially one that can be enabled from the inside. It would be fairly easy for a strong person who wants to break in to get in., & it is pretty isolated out in that area. It would be much better if the overhead light fixtures were on separate switches, which was inconvenient. One occupant needed the light off, while the other 2 occupants needed an overhead light over in the areas with the other bed, dresser,, refrigerator, closet, & the table & chairs area. There needs to be separate switches or put a lamp on that dresser. Or have a floor lamp somewhere something to separately light the 2 sides of the large room.. The bathroom light & 2 small flashlights were not sufficient. We could not wasH our dishes - there was no dish soap. And the little refrigerator needs to be defrosted. There was water standing in the bottom of it - it was not working efficiently. We will consider staying there again - we really liked it, but we have the above mentioned concerns. Thank you !,,😊
