Everything was clean and nice. We got a room view we weren’t crazy about so instead of moving us they gave us breakfast vouchers. The coffee maker was broken and they kept telling us they would replace it. It was never replaced so I was unable to make coffee in the room. Overall it’s a very nice place and well maintained.

Very clean on the inside and we loved the historic look on the outside. The surrounding area is very picturesque and walkable. We were also pleased to see that it was part of the Marriott family as we are members.

My wife and I stayed here for a quick getaway trip and it did not disappoint the hotel is amazing! It’s an old school vibe and it’s all so nice inside, the staff was great! The hotel is in a perfect area with tons of great restaurants and bars and shopping in walking distance. If you’re looking for a place in Fredericksburg to stay the publisher is your spot!

It's a beautiful hotel. The room was gorgeous and spacious. The check-in process was a little slow. It's located within walking distance to downtown Fredericksburg (shopping, tourist attractions, and restaurants). Parking is available in the lot across the street for $25 if paid through the hotel. If not, the lot has hourly rates.

My best friend and I had a girls weekend in Fredericksburg and stayed at The Publisher. Wow. It is an absolutely beautiful hotel, right downtown so everything is walkable, the staff were amazing, beds were comfy, shower was wonderful. It was really such a great experience. I don't think I would want to stay anywhere else when visiting Fredericksburg.
