「Very nice house, we stayed here for 5 nights and I’d recommend it to anyone that wants to utilize it for Massanutten or Shenandoah national park.」

「A tropical Paradise in the middle of Charlottesville, close to everything yet very tranquil. Wonderful bedrooms and discrete work areas on the inside accentuate the unbelievable pool area and pavilion behind. Beautifully well done, and not adequately depicted in pictures. It’s a near perfect getaway venue. Amazing hosts were always available and nothing went undone or wanting. Very responsive and cordial.」

「We came down from DC to catch a show at the Foundry. This location was perfect as it was walking distance to the venue and we each had our own room. It also has a large covered porch that was great for having a couple of drinks as the sun went down before going to the show.」

「Fantastic hosts. Separate apartment in the basement of family house. Beds excellent. Great shower. Hosts provided not only snacks but fresh eggs from their chickens! They have a super friendly dog, many chickens, ducks, goats, and alpacas. I got to feed and pet and brush them. If I'm ever near Charlottesville again I'll come back here for sure.」

「This place was a great stay for us to rest up for snowboarding. Conveniently located close to the slopes. It was graciously stocked with any type of health/hygiene product you might need. Which was convenient because I forgot conditioner and face wash. We really appreciated the stay, and will return in the future!」

「The apartment was very nice, clean, comfortable and wonderfully located...right on the Mall. The property manager was also very responsive when I was a bit confused about how to enter through the very good security. My only recommendation to future travelers would be to bring Nespresso pods. The apartment has a great Nespresso machine, though pods are hard to come by. However, there are very good coffee shops in the immediate area. Our thanks to the host. It was just what we needed.」

The rooms were quite spacious, and the abundance of natural sunlight from the large windows was inviting. The piano added a fun touch. 「Located in the Belmont district, the unit was perfect for our weekend. The unit is exactly as shown and it is comfortable and has everything you need for a short stay. The best part is the location! Walking distance, literally behind, Belmont’s Main Street where you have the quaintest restaurants. Main Street Mall is 1/2 mile walk where you find tons of bars, restaurants and two main art venues, the Jefferson and Paramount Theaters. We will definitely come back!」

「We loved how much space this accommodation had, and how clean and welcoming the rooms were. Really the only complaint is that you do hear the owners quite a lot due to it being a basement apartment, and the wooden stairs around the back of the house you need to take to access the basement apartment are rotting out and a safety hazard- especially in the pouring rain we experienced. I would stay here again for the convenient price and cleanliness, but do wish the walkway to get to the basement was...

「We enjoyed our stay at the Massanutten Resort. The resort offers many amenities and activities however everything must be purchased separately. I wish they offered an all inclusive option for families. The prices are high, but I guess that's as expected for a four seasons resort. The indoor waterpark was awesome!
