"With kiddo at UVA The Forum is perfect as far as location. Minutes from her dorm, shopping, grocery store and restaurant. The hotel is beautiful. Our bed was comfy and the room spacious enough. The window in our room was huge with a beautiful view. Best blackout curtain award goes to The Forum! The staff is friendly. We loved seeing dogs coming and going and in the social areas. VERY dog friendly. We will be back. "

"The new owners are very friendly. The grounds could be kept a bit nicer. There has been trash just thrown out and left. The carpets are in dire need of changing. The curtains could use a good washing. The last time we stayed, there was mosquitos and other bugs in the room. So a visit from exterminator would be a plus. I liked staying here because there was a nice walking path , but this past summer it was not walkable. Hopefully the new owners will get into a rhythm and get the place in shape. "
