Freemont Springs Park

FYI - I asked Ai Google for the "most comfortable hotel beds, free parking, and breakfast in Salt Lake City" for our overnight stay. 2 places popped up and after reading reviews we chose Crystal Inn. This place is a gem! We will be returning when passing through the area in the future for sure. At registration Ian was so helpful and engaging when we checked in as well as bringing us additional items we needed for my disabled spouse to sleep comfortably. The hotel was hosting a bunch of sports teams and there were teens everywhere when we arrived. Ian did his best to minimize their impact on us in terms of our room location and advisement on the best time to come down for breakfast. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The towels were surprisingly soft and thick. The bed wasn't as comfortable as we prefer but did the job. The only real issue was the sheets were so rough and hard. Like they'd been starched or something. Odd considering how soft and fluffy the towels were. Again we managed fine. I will say the breakfast was just as good as the reviews said. One of the best free hotel breakfasts (and some not free) we've ever had. The food was, hot, there was plenty for all, everything tasted fresh and flavorful, AND the staff was nice and did not start pulling food too early and let those that were there eat their fill before cleaning up which was a nice change. Great menu too! Thank you Crystal Inn, we will be back!

Only downside was that they charge for WiFi. Today, even most lower tier hotel offer WiFi for free. That would make it easy to access the WiFi. As a member, it was free for me, but I still had to go through the hassle of connecting. I kept getting error messages so I changed my password. Then I got a message that the password I just changed was incorrect. This kept happening over and over. It should just connect by my room number.

If you are looking for an eclectic and memorable hotel to stay in, I highly recommend staying here. The staff were super friendly and the enviroment just welcoming. Definitely will stay here anytime I am in the area in the future. If you are a skateboarder, they have an indoor park just for you. I am not, but it kinda gives you the vibe of this hotel. Can't say enough nice things about the overall experience at this hotel. If you are a business person, like me, they have an awesome lobby to sit in and do work. WIFI was great too.
