Nice cozy home away from home

If you want to sleep with the sound of the waves, this place is the right one for you. The host is very nice. She promptly replies to very questions you'll ever have. Highly recommended.

Great place

The rental is very well located. Pedestrian beach is a short walk. Has all we needed. If you stay, bring drinking/cooking water. They have a filtration system but it's very chlorine forward. (Surfside water is trash and bring DEET!!! The area has a lot of standing water, and the skeeters will carry you away) We were prepared on both counts as we come to Surfside often.

Wonderful Sounds of the Gulf

The location of this VRBO is great! Even inside with all of the windows closed, you could clearly hear the Gulf. The Gulf washed up some really nice shells across the road. The place was decorated nice and beachy. There was sunshine on the front porch. The sunrises over the Gulf were beautiful. Communication with the property manager was quick and easy. We were very comfortable. The bathrooms needed renovations (which they had started). The vents and fans needed cleaning. You could clearly hear the renters on the other side of the door/wall (which we did not mind). We had a very nice stay.

Good place!

Nice location for Flatlanders wanting to hear the ocean. There is no beach access, but by driving a bit towards Galveston there is plenty of beach.

June of 2025 vacation

The stay was great we were only able to book one night just cause it was completely book by others. But we would return for sure.-hospitable owner-clean house-great viewThe only down side was the walk to the beach and the difficulty of trying to unload things like chairs and canopy ect. But thats not the owners fault. Tide was constantly high and no sand in front of the property.Next time we will rent a golf cart to make it smoother. All in all, we will stay again.
