Great experience, nice place

We rented this beach house for our sons, senior prom for he and his friends to stay. The Beachhouse was really cute, very clean easy access to the beach great experience.

This place was great for a short weekend trip to visit family in the area. We found the place clean upon arrival and everything was perfect. Would highly recommend staying here.

So nice!

Really enjoyed staying here, great location to the beach, gas station and the surf shops a black away! Clean and nice with everything you need for a comfortable stay! This is our second stay at this property.

The house is beautiful, nice and clean and just a very short walk to the beach! 1 block from a surf shop also! Had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back! Host was very nice and kept in touch as needed.

Nice, quiet place for a group

We stayed here a few times while settling a family estate in Lake Jackson. It was perfect for our group of 5 adults with only 1 couple. We had enough room both to socialize and for each of us to have privacy. It was clean and quiet each time. Very close to the Gulf for quick morning walks along the coast.

Lovely beach getaway

We had a delightful stay! With 5 adults - 1 couple and 3 singles - there was an ideal amount of space. So close to the ocean we could hear the waves crashing and smell the salt air. Being off the main road it was quiet and restful at night. Everything was clean and comfortable. We hope to be back some time.

Great beach house

The place was amazing. We sat on the comfy deck chairs for an hour the night we got there and enjoyed the ocean breeze. Plenty of towels and a real coffee maker, it has all the comforts of home. My daughter loved the bunk bed and the walk to the beach was so short.

Great spot, Needs Some Work

When I checked in, the front door knob completely fell out. I asked someone to come and fix it or for some compensation for the safety issue, but it was never addressed. Other than the water coming out of the faucet being brown (I don't blame them since its a beach house, just generally kind of gross), the house was good.

The location and the size of the house was great but it needs a really good deep clean. The post said games which we could never find and the tv in the living room never worked. My kids were excited about the hammock that was in the pictures but that was not there. Also if you’re not gonna have closets then there needs to be dressers in the bedrooms.

Great house

The house was the perfect size for us. Loved the decor! It was close enough to walk to the beach and Sharkies (bar and grill) as well as a convenience store. Beach towels and trash bags were not provided but we had brought our own. Other than those two things everything we needed was there. Check in/out was easy.

Great beach getaway!

This was a wonderful property for our family of 5. We came in town for a wedding in Angleton. Everything was wonderful! The only thing I wish I had know was that there aren’t any closets. We had lots of suits and dresses that needed to be hung up. We managed with the hooks in the bathroom, but I should have requested a rack. Beautiful house and great location!

Family getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beach house. Check in was a breeze and Russell is a very attentive host. The house was clean and spacious enough for our large group. Our trip was scheduled only a week after hurricane Beryl, so it was a bit sad to see some of the damage to the area firsthand. The internet didn’t seem to work during our stay but it’s understandable considering the circumstances, as many in the area were still without power. The mosquitos were definitely a nuisance, limiting our outdoor activities but that was also out of our host’s hands since it’s what commonly happens after getting lots of rain. Nonetheless, my family had a great time and we made the best of the trip.

Overall an ok place

This home accommodated our family very well. The host was very responsive and checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. I was a bit was the cleanliness. The general surfaces were fine, but it. It could use a deep clean. The cabinets, baseboards, blinds, etc were dusty and splattered with food, etc. I’m a little picky about cleanliness, so this may not bother everyone. Most of the neighborhood is just fine, but the house next door is very run-down, just to be aware.

Close to beach but super unclean

Cons: This is advertised as everything in the listing being brand new. I would say the structure of the house is fine but the interior is really gross, especially for the cost of the rental. The carpet in the living room is covered in stains. I understand bugs get inside of homes but there were quite a few cockroaches running around on the counter in daylight before we even prepared any food. The bathrooms were not clean either. I mentioned the cockroaches to the contact for the listing but he never responded. Pros: It's maybe a 5 minute walk down to some steps to the beach which is convenient.
