Welcome to The Lakehouse on Long Pond in East Freetown, Massachusetts!
Enjoy the stunning lakefront views and life on the shoreline at this 24 acre property with space for 12 guests to sleep comfortably. A long private road leads you to a tranquil setting with nature all around. This property is tucked away, but also central to local stores and services. You'll have water views from almost every window and multiple styles of outdoor entertainment areas, so many spaces to spread out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
You can enjoy a large deck with built-in seating and a propane firepit or head down the stairs to the wood-burning firepit with plenty of swivel chairs for the whole family! You'll also have access to both a BBQ propane grill and propane griddle. When heading to the dock, there is a small set of stairs and dock space to bring your boat or use the included kayaks/canoe.
** NOTE: The dock will be taken out of the water in November of the year, as well as the paddle boards and pedal boat. The canoes and kayaks will be available on the side yard, but would need to be walked/carried into the water for usage. The dock is put back in the water in early to mid-May. **
Enter via a large covered open air porch with seating and into the house through a large mudroom with lots of storage, also where the washer and dryer are located. From the mudroom, you're able to head out to the very large screened porch with more lounge furniture, wine fridge, and outdoor lights creating a wonderful nighttime atmosphere.
Step into the gorgeous open concept main floor with stunning lake views through the huge windows and doors that head to the deck. The living area has a large flat screen smart TV and pellet stove. As you turn the corner into the kitchen, you'll find that it's fully stocked with anything you may need, plenty of coffee equipment, air fryer, and lots of storage in the butler's pantry. There's also a 1/2 bathroom on this floor.
When heading upstairs, you'll find 4 bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed, 2 closets, a window seat with lakeviews and an attached full bathroom with a standing glass shower, the toilet in this bathroom also has a bidet. The next bedroom has a queen sized mattress and a set of twin bunk beds. The other 2 bedrooms on this floor have queen sized beds and outside of those rooms is a full bathroom with a combo tub/shower.
The house has a crib, porta-crib, baby gates, and toddler chairs available upon request.
The guesthouse on this property is just across a short walkway with a little bistro patio set. You'll enter into a well-equipped kitchen and living room and a private bedroom with a queen bed, most of these windows also have lake views. Off the kitchen is a full bathroom with a standing shower - a wonderful bonus area for even more people to stay.
** Please note that the cleaning cost will be reduced by $100 if you choose in advance to not include the guesthouse in your rental. **
