「The remodeling/upgrades done on this 1900’s apartment are well done. They’ve modernized the apartment while keeping the classic charm. While Downton Appleton goes to sleep early (unless you enjoy bar hopping), the block that this apartment is located has a number of fun little shops/coffeehouses/eateries. There is also a large YMCA behind this apartment which offers day passes if you accustom to a daily workout. One negative (which is out of the control of this apartment owner) is parking....

「Property desperately needs some bug spray and maintenance. The electrical is a bit slipshod and the microwave is unreliable. I’m also not sure why they include an oven/stovetop but don’t have any pots or pans. The shower was uncomfortably small and this led to several mishaps while showering. Aside from this, the property was serviceable. The air conditioner keeps the bed cool at night, and the bed was comfortable.」

「The apartment in general was nice and clean. Bathroom linens left alot to be desired. Tattered washcloths. Hand towel bleach stains. Had 4 people staying 2 nights and only 4 washcloths and 4 towels. Close to many things. Very convenient. I would stay again.」

「The location was perfect for a weekend spent fishing with my brother! Communication with the owner, John, was superb and the accommodations comfortable and nearby a number of amenities! We will definitely return if we head back up for another guys weekend on the water.」

「This was our second stay at this apartment. We like that there is underground parking since we have come to Oshkosh in December and January. It is pleasant and clean.」

「This is a very small cottage with two beds plus a loft at the top of a wooden ladder. The place is very close to the shore/dock with pristine views of the lake. Overall condition is neat and tidy. The only issues during our stay were 1) the shower is super tiny, and 2) the water has a foul odor (just a guess but the copper anode in the water heater may need replacement or removal). The town of Fremont is an easy ten minute drive north. What's really special about this property is the seclusion:...

「Cabin was very clean and modern, while keeping the log cabin feel. Owners have thought of everything, with little touches all over the place (seating by creek on trails, buckets to carry wood, life jackets for the boats, etc.). Offering the wood for purchase (honor system) was also a great perk. We caught many fish at the lake, saw all kinds of interesting animals (giant turtle, woodpeckers, owl). Truly a wonderful place!」

「We had a great night, hanging out on the dock early in the day, and sitting around a fire in the evening. Clean and tidy home. 2 bathrooms is a major plus! Woke up and watched the sunrise off the deck. Great place!」
