Portland Fremont Bridge Hotels

"The Mark Spencer Hotel has a friendly staff. There is a 5pm complimentary Wine hour and on Saturdays there is a 1 man band Jim ? He was unique and very gifted a joy to be entertained by. The room we stayed in had a kitchenette and a king size bed that was very comfortable. The bathroom was very well laid out and upscale with a excellent rainshower no lack of water pressure. The hotel is just around the block from the Ritz Carlton and there are a lot of choices to eat and have a drink. Unfortunately Portland has a homeless and drug community that lives on the streets near by. But you can not escape them since they are all over the city. We invariably give small donations to some of them since it is a sad sad sight to see the suffering. I would stay here again."

"Mattress base (support) was noisy. During my sleep, every time I was changing position, bed was quite noisy."

"Big noise and bang noise coming from the ventilation system and I had to change the room and dragging all my luggage in the middle of the night to a different room that a nice lady at the reception find it available. The new room was dirty, with moisture around the bathtub grout and smelly walls from 100 years old wood. Never go back in this property "
