This is a very basic motel with fewer amenities than most comparably priced motels. Outside condition is simply horrible. Peeling paint and crumbling corners everywhere. Stairs to the second floor look rotten and unstable. While the room looked like it was recently renovated and was fairly clean, it smelled of what my wife described as puppy dog accident, and the smell was so bad that we had to ask for Fabreeze spray at the front desk. The mattresses were ok, but the pillows were too lumpy and uncomfortable. The air conditioner worked really well but was extremely noisy to the point that it was hard to fall asleep. The towel rack was *outside* the bathroom, and there was not a single hook or a shelf inside the bathroom to hang your towel on. Your only options are to either put the towel on the toilet or hang it from the door handle. Our two double bed room for four people had only two tiny drawers for all the clothes. In fact, the only furniture in the room besides the two beds was one small night stand, one small table and two chairs. NOTHING else, no counter space, no tv armoire, not even a coat hanger. No coffe maker either, but it did have tiny fridge and a microwave that looked too gross to touch. My suggestion to the hotel owners is to live in one of their rooms for a day or two and see how they like it. Then maybe they can improve a few things.
