Tout était parfait : la chambre était propre, confortable et très agréable, le personnel toujours accueillant et professionnel, et l’ambiance générale vraiment reposante. The lady on reception was super-nice, very helpful with good English. This is definitely not a tourist hotel due to it's location. “Das Hotel ist sehr einfach und in die Jahre gekommen. Die Dame des Hauses ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist typisch französisch, aber mit hausgemachten Marmeladen und Joghurt.”

“The Serra was truly wonderful. It surpassed much more expensive hotels we have stayed at even taking account of status upgrades. The room was spacious and beautiful- one small criticism is the low hanging light over the table which I hit with my head - twice. But a lovely bath and separate huge shower along with high quality towels and robes. Lovely bar, sitting area and restaurant. I sound like an advert - but it was really that good.”
