Pickwick Cottage - Conveniently-Located in Brooklin

"The Pickwick was clean and comfortable with an homey atmosphere and was in a good location for us as we were there to repair a cabin in the area and visit with old friends. The kitchen had basic equipment but had a small toaster oven rather than a full oven. The lockbox was difficult for us to get to — it requires getting down on your knees as it is plugged into an outlet at ground level. We are elderly and our knees don’t work so well any more. At first we had difficulty getting the internet to work until we figured out that the light switch at the door controls power to the router as well as the lamps. Once we figured that out it worked well. On Thursdays from 11 - 1 there is a small farmer’s market in the village where we got delicious locally made sausages, produce and baked goods as well as a handmade mat we brought home for our porch. We appreciated the night lights that were provided in the hallway and bathroom. "

"We enjoyed staying at Sea Green. The location is beautiful and the cabin is extremely comfortable and functional. We cooked in most nights and that worked well despite having a small kitchen the outdoor grill and burner for lobster pots was a huge plus."
